Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

Story
Just before Christmas in 1843, a debt-ridden and dispirited Charles Dickens wrote a small book he hoped would keep his creditors at bay. His publisher turned it down, so Dickens used what little money he had to put out A Christmas Carol himself. He worried it might be the end of his career as a novelist. The book immediately caused a sensation. And it breathed new life into a holiday that had fallen into disfavor, undermined by lingering Puritanism and the cold modernity of the Industrial Revolution.

Unique Way to Learn Norse Mythology
I found this audiobook to be a unique, interesting, and fun way to learn the stories from Norse Mythology. Told in the manner that myths were originally passed along, the stories were engaging, easy to follow along, and definitely more entertaining than a typical history lesson.
The narrator was clear, his English accent gave the European flair to the story as well (at least to this American.)
I truly enjoyed listening to this audiobook, and hope to listen to more by this author and this narrator.

A really good read/listen!
This is an amazing book that has me wanting to dive deeper into Norse mythology and history! The way the book is written brings the characters of the Norse gods to life as does the narration (the narrator is awesome as he reads Loki!).

Storytelling at its finest
Norse Mythology Simplified
What a delightful experience! For me this audiobook is the first of its kind as I allow myself to expand my horizon in this manner. Not only do I get to hear the correct pronunciation of the names i’ve struggled with, but also having it read to me, allows one to visualize the story on a different level and in my opinion, well worth the experience.
Through this book, you are invited to step into the world of Norse mythology. A world which takes place in the past and the belief systems of the people that built and lived it. As with people in today’s world, we are all looking for answers. Many of the questions and concerns of these ancient times are similar today in their nature in duality. Through myths and storytelling, we can better understand, not only the past, but also the present and look to the future. As there is more focus on this mythology at the present time, exploring this can assist us in multiple ways. Through this storytelling, we come to better understand more about not only our predecessors, but ourselves.
The author in this format takes us on a journey, first setting the stage, then diving and describing for us the history and resilience of these tribes and their beliefs. The story begins as a creation story, if you will, and in this version, from a first person narrative style. We learn the tales of Yggdrasil In a manner that, in my opinion, is more conducive to learning and would be advantageous in history lessons today. Through skillful presentation we learn of various Norse gods and goddesses and their impact on myth and traditions
Although this book speaks to days long past, we are shown how these myths and stories impact the very intricacies of human nature that still impact us today.
