Enjoyed the premise and kept me guessing on ‘what was going on’ until nearly the end of the book.
Narrator Alastair Murden was great and I would like to hear other works by him.

Very original Sci-Fi work, for me was a great introduction to Jesse Laeuchli and I will definitely look at more books by him.
Only complaint was that the ‘how and why’ of what was going on did not satisfy; it leaves you wanting more about the antagonist(s) and the struggle against them. Maybe a follow-up will help with this?

This book has an interesting concept that I have rarely seen explored. As humans travel vast distances across space, they will spend quite a bit of time in VR. But what if your VR can be infected with a virus? What effects might that have on a person? I’m simplifying the plot quite a bit here, the author does a much better job than me. Overall, it’s an enjoyable listen.

The author gifted me a copy of this book with no expectation of me posting a review. This review is my unbiased opinion.

The story was very entertaining. I kept thinking something different was going to occur, and I really enjoyed not being able to accurately predict where the story was headed. Great narration fitting to the story.
