She describes the fascinating history of this sacred spot, from the earliest churches and temples built there, through the construction of the Notre Dame cathedral as a triumph of Gothic architecture. Listeners learn about Notre Dame's key features, including its famous flying buttresses and rose windows, as well as some of the many historic and cultural events that have taken place there. Even Victor Hugo's famous hunchback is given a mention. This is a nice-sized listen for tourists who want some background before a visit, without being bogged down in too much detail.

Just an FYI, this was apparently produced before 2019 since it does not include the April 2019 fire.

The narrator was a bit too bright for me, but am for such a short thing she was ok. There was, however, extremely annoying background music throughout.
