About this listen

In the first look into the black abyss, we learned a little about Lawrence King, Alan Baer and the Franklin Credit Union. In this book, we're going to hear from the victims. We're going to hear their side and their details. The enormity of it all begins to emerge little by little, maybe because it is so much for a normal person to digest, at least it was for me. Imagine the number of participants any group would have to have in order to be called, "a ring". These just hit the tip of the iceberg. As my journey continued and I learned more and more, it made more aware of the dangers and the extent to which they will go to kidnap and take children who may not be well supervised. The idea that this is happening and there is no one there to help them is more than any person who has been a parent or had a heart should ever contemplate. But here we are and they need all of us. They have been kicking and screaming, trying to get through and yet no one has listened. We think it's ugly? Imagine how they feel and no one did anything to help them. We have a change to make amends for our shortcomings in this and none of us can say we don't have them. We could all be more aware of what is going on and speak out about it. Look at the riots and rallies held over the last year and everything was being protested. Hundred of thousands of innocent children, yours and mine perhaps, maybe a neighbors but kids just like ours are getting taken right off our neighborhood streets while minding their own business just to be used and tortured by someone with money. If we don't all work together to stop it, then I believe we will all be held accountable. Try. Do something. Talk about it to your kids that can understand and make them clear on the seriousness of what can happen when they think it won't. None of the kids in these stories ever dreamed of things like this happening to them, but it did. Know Thy Enemy Law
