A worthy sequel

It was difficult to picture a story that would live up to My Side of the Mountain, but this book does, while taking us on a whole new adventure.

Great book.

Spell-binding story for the whole family! Nice recording, too! We listened to this series in the car while traveling.

One of the best books we’ve listened to!

We listened to the first book, My Side of the Mountain and loved it. This book, however, was so much richer—which is hard to believe I’m saying because the first book was SO good. The first book is more about life on the mountain and this book was a compelling and developing story. Many falconry and trail-finding details. We listened with our 4, 5, and 8 year olds. Everyone loved it!

Creative pleasant story

The only thing I would say negatively about this story, is that the main character can be some what selfish and almost more childish than he was in the first book but maybe that was on purpose....oh well. Didn't bother me too much.

The book my side of the mountain was amazing but on the far side of the mountain was even better!! I am so amazed.I love it.!!!!

I read the first book, and I really enjoyed it and I am so exited to read the 3rd book. I think that it was amazing how the author made the book so sad for people but a happy and amazing ending!🙂

Amazing book

3 years ago, I read the first book in the series and didn’t think there was a second book. When I found this online, I knew I had to get it. My Side f the Mountain is better in my opinion but this book is definitely amazing. I love the voice acting. It was a little slow so I had to speed it up. But besides that, I liked it. I would definitely recommend this book but you must read My Side of the Mountain first to completely enjoy this book.
