About this listen
James Van Der Beek narrates an unforgettable coming-of-age journey set during a transformational time—high school senior year. Packed with laughter, wonder, beauty, and heartbreak, this poignant audiobook based on a true story is a must-listen for fans of the classic movie Dead Poets Society.
Senior year was supposed to be the time of Colt's life, but when he meets Lucas Oliver, a college-aged vagabond with a mysterious past, Colt's life takes an unexpected turn.
Lucas mentors Colt and a group of eleven other senior guys, guiding them through a series of rites of passage over the course of the year. They are challenged by the power of sacred questions, courageous acts, and vulnerable authenticity, but the question remains: can Lucas be trusted with his unorthodox ideas about God, life, and death? Along the way, Colt's feelings for Noa—a "band dork" he has known for years, deepen as he falls for her bright green eyes and charming honesty.
As Colt and the group of young men explore the wonders, romance, and adventures of their senior year, they are confronted with an event that challenges everything they hold true.

Story
In The Overcomers, Matt Chandler reminds listeners that they don’t have to be anxious or afraid of anything in the present or in the future because both have already been won. We are not victims but overcomers—and we are a key part of what God is working out in our day. God is at work in the mess, just as He has always been, and He continues to accomplish His purpose of seeking and saving the lost.

Story
Through personal experience and countless conversations, speaker and Bible teacher Jennie Allen has come to realize that most of us need to unlearn some deeply damaging messages about our emotions. We've been taught, for example, that emotions are untrustworthy when, in fact, they are a gift from God to help us notice what is wrong and where we need to heal. Your emotions are not something to suppress or ignore. They are meant to be felt, examined, and shared.

Traveling back in time.
I could not stop listening to this book!! Each chapter ends with you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. This story was captivating and made me feel like I was traveling back in time to my own Senior year of high school. I felt like I knew each character personally and could identify with so many of their encounters, adventures, and questions about life they all wrestled with. Well done good and faithful servants for bringing this story to life! CARPE DIEM!!!

Mesmerized by the voice and then quickly drawn into the story.
I honestly purchased this because of James Van Der Beeks voice and the trailer on his instagram page. His voice is amazing for audiobooks but I was also quickly intrigued by the short clip of storyline. I had no idea what the story was really even about but just started listening. I was sucked in to the story within minutes. I’m listening to it now for a second time. I definitely need to check out Craig Cunningham’s other books.

Beautiful language and powerful quotes
One Night in a Thousand Years was a beautifully written book that successfully captured the essence of being a teenage boy, about to graduate from high school and head out into the world who is unsure of life, love and what’s beyond.

Loved
This was one of my most favorite books in recent months. I desperately wanted it to keep going but it also ended so perfectly I could hardly fault it. James VanDer Beek’s vocal performance was flawless and perfectly paired. I keep wishing every boy and man I know could be reading this, though as a woman in my 30’s, I so enjoyed this. 10/10 recommend!

Incredible Story!
I am not a young man, but I am a mom to three incredible young men and I absolutely loved the time I spent listening to this book. James Van Der Beek’s narration is so good and I didn’t want the book to end!
