About this listen

From Lexy Timm comes a motorcycle club romance that'll make you want to buy a Harley and fall in love all over again.

Emily Dougherty and Luke Wade were in love in high school, but circumstances conspired to keep them apart. Ten years later they meet again and find their connection is just as strong and more searingly hot than ever. Events take a dangerous turn when Luke's uncle, Mexican drug lord Raymondo Icherra, shows up and stirs up trouble. Emily's pregnancy turns high risk with her fainting and having continuous high blood pressure. While Luke deals with a problem with his motorcycle club Hades' Spawn, Emily is kidnapped by persons unknown. As Luke searches frantically for Emily, he learns the truth about his past and his parent's murder.

Good Ending

First, Emily's ex is still a creepy delusional bastard. Luke is totally the best and Emily's stepdad needs to take a chill pill.

Great story, Horrible narrator

I couldn’t get past the first chapter because the narrator is horrible. Will revisit if narrator ever changes.

I would pass on buying this one series

What disappointed you about One You Never Leave?

The series including this book was confusing. The first three books was weird only having four or five members of a club. It was more like a little pack than a biker club. They didn't do much riding of motorcycles either. The leading lady character was weak cause she was either claiming her toughness and then going into a panic attack or keeping secrets that if their bond of love was so great, she would have shared with him. What was with Luke leaving her at the hospital unguarded after she saw her exboyfriend? Even thou the visiting time was up, I would have thought he would have been in the hall or at least in the waiting room. At the end of the story in this last book it got way too confusing of the double names and who's uncle to who, and who is undercover but turning on who. Too many gangs and uncles seeking revenge or just stirring trouble. Also the narrator was flat toned and didn't vary in her voice when being someone else in conversation. Sorry but this is a bust.
