About this listen

Operation Sentinel Eclipse plunges readers into the heart of a harrowing jungle expedition, where a downed missile unleashes an environmental and geopolitical catastrophe. Major Luis Vega and his team of American operatives are sent deep into the Panamanian rainforest to secure a mysterious object emitting deadly radiation and flickering otherworldly lights.
Faced with hostile terrain, relentless Chinese operatives, and an unknown threat that warps the very environment around it, the team battles not just to survive but to uncover the truth behind the object’s origin. As alliances shift and international tensions escalate, the mission transforms into a high-stakes game of survival and strategy, with the fate of global stability hanging in the balance.
From covert jungle operations and daring helicopter rescues to political intrigue in the halls of Washington, Operation Sentinel Eclipse is a gripping blend of military suspense, science fiction, and geopolitical drama. Perfect for fans of The Hunt for Red October and The Martian, this page-turner combines pulse-pounding action with thought-provoking insights into the cost of secrecy and the pursuit of power.

The virtual narration was lacking. It lacked the emotion human narrators can add to a story. But, the story seemed repetitive as well. Unfortunately, I am not good at putting my observations into words. It is a genre I like, but a story that I would not be interested in hearing again.

The narration needs work.

I hated the AI voice. A dead person would be less monotonous. Second, what was the object? Alien? They go again to retrieve the object and that is the epilogue? The idea is interesting but lacks good writing. Was it a human or an AI that wrote this?

An interesting idea botched by bad storytelling
