Editorial reviews

Ric Edleman has helped countless people realize their financial dreams. The difference between him and other popular financial planners, though, is he has made success stories out of regular people - a fireman, housewives, and construction workers - honest, hard workers like you. Ordinary People, Extraordinary Wealth is an entertaining and inspiring look at how the average listener can find real wealth with sound and smart investments. Performed by the encouraging and enthusiastic Edleman himself, this audiobook makes for a thorough and important listen for anyone looking to stretch their wallet and their knowledge of finances.

Critic reviews

"He's unconventional. He's contrary. But when it comes to investing, people listen." (The Washington Post)

Solid Personal Finance Book

Ric Edelman has solid reasoned advice for personal investments. I've tried questioning his theories and largely come up empty.

I dinged the book for two primary reasons.
1. -- The book is dated. Its examples and reasons still hold true, but it is 20 years old. He has updated his other books. Why not this one?
2. -- Audio quality is a lacking. His radio program and the other audio books don't have the same grainy sound. The narration is clear, but I don't find it as enjoyable & easy to listen to as his other works.
