About this listen
Surrender your anxiety!
Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God.
Psalms 46:10a TPT
Anxiety touches most every person in their deepest being. It is a great equalizer and seems to be one of our most common problems. In anxiety we can be easily manipulated and controlled by the many voices looking to gain power over our lives. Whether its the media, family, or the myriads of people we encounter daily, the goal is to gain influence over our choices and lives.
Overcoming Anxiety: Defeat an Inner Thief Killing Our Joy and Life
Anxiety is such a heinous trap that becomes a horrid stronghold which crushes our life and joy. It places our faith in difficulty and struggle saying that life will always be too hard or impossible. This faith is a false faith and robs us of true faith in Christ.
In this audiobook you will discover how to overcome anxiety as a controlling power, and defeat this internal thief that robs you of peace and enjoying the presence of God. We can live free of the controlling power of anxiety and overcome its effects on our lives. This is great news as we were never designed to manhandle this life on our own!

Story
The ancient Toltecs believed that life, as we perceive it, is a dream. We each live in our own personal dream, and these come together to form the dream of the planet, or the world in which we live. Problems arise when our perception of the dream becomes clouded with negativity, drama, and judgment (of ourselves and others), because it's in these moments of suffering that we have forgotten that we are the architects of our own reality and we have the power to change our dream if we choose.

Story
The book of Enoch was thought to be lost for over 2,000 years until, in 1773, a traveller brought three copies back from Ethiopia. Whether or not this ancient book was actually authored by Enoch, the father of Methuselah and great-grandfather of Noah, is an ongoing debate among historians and theologians. But all recognise the book of Enoch as one of the most important apocalyptic works outside of the Bible.

A Life-Changing Guide to Conquering Anxiety!
What I found most impactful about this audiobook is how it exposes the real nature of anxiety—not just as a feeling of fear, but as an actual thief that robs us of joy, peace, and the fullness of life we are meant to experience. The author masterfully connects scripture with practical advice, particularly emphasizing Psalms 46:10a ("Be still, and know that I am God"), which hit me deeply. It’s a calming reminder that we don’t have to fight our battles in isolation.
The narrator's soothing tone made this experience even more immersive. The voice truly echoed the sense of peace that this book encourages. It’s not just an audiobook for believers, though. I believe anyone struggling with anxiety, regardless of their faith background, would find the principles in here helpful and life-changing.

Helpful and enlightening
I found this audiobook really helpful in dealing with anxiety. It doesn't just give you surface-level advice but actually digs deeper into what anxiety does to your life and how it steals your joy. It was also comforting especially when it talks about letting go and trusting God more. The narration was calm and easy to follow, which made it even more relaxing to listen to. It isn't preachy, just honest and real about how anxiety can take control, and offers ways to fight back. If you are looking for something uplifting and practical, this one really hits the mark.

tired of feeling trapped by worry? grab this.
This book saved me when anxiety was crushing my spirit. It felt like someone finally understood my struggle and showed me a way out. What struck me most was how it nailed the manipulative nature of anxiety. It's not just in your head - it's this sneaky thief robbing you of peace. The author gets it, and more importantly, shows you how to fight back.
I love how it ties everything back to faith without being preachy. It's practical, relatable, and honestly? It works. Since reading it, I've got tools to quiet those anxious thoughts and actually enjoy life again.

Bible-Centered, Christ-Centered
This is an amazing audiobook that not only keeps Jesus at the center but is also backed by Scriptures. The author’s vulnerability about his own journey of overcoming anxiety makes this real and relatable. Of all the wonderful revelations, I especially appreciated these keys to experience peace: put Christ on the throne, lean on Him, and never stop gazing upon Him. Absolutely loved the anxiety-renouncing prayer at the end as well! Great resource to read and revisit!
