About this listen
The first musical quest was only the beginning! Waking up with a taco hangover after celebrating their last win, Bellissimo realizes there's more to the Uppercase prophecy than they thought, and this part deals with her! With Sir Roderick at her side, she must defeat the Beandom's four fearsome Oxymorons: the Little Giant, the Jumbo Shrimp, the Living Dead, and the Moronic Ox. Success will bring them to the mythical One Bean and the Treasure of Ages, but can she succeed, working with a man with an ego bigger than Mount Ominous? More than treasure, she hopes to obtain the greatest gift of all: the ability to sleep in whenever she wants.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Neve and her young daughter Bex travel among the wreckage speaking to those left behind and surviving, against all odds. Neve records everything for history, and in the hopes of locating a clue as to where the dragons came from and how one might stop them.

Laugh Out Loud Funny “Hot Sauce Prophesy”.
I think a lot of the humor may have gone over this old gray head of mine, but I was still laughing so much while listening to this Monty Pythonesque audiobook. It was hilarious. I lost it over the 3 clues, especially when they encountered rhe Jumbo Shrimp the size of an elephant. I will never think of tacos and nachos the same way again.
The talk of excessive punctuation spoke to me. Bad Bunny, Count Slad, the statue with irony (iron knee), and all the other crazy characters had me in stitches. The thought of a vegan zombie and the grains or brains dilemma still made me laugh so hard.
The cherry on top of this over the top quest was the reading of the 10 tales of woe from the “Tear Jerkers for Tots” book.
If you need to escape into a fantasy world of almost utter nonsense and want to laugh out loud, I suggest you listen to this hilarious audiobook.

What a Blast! Hilarious!
Bellissimo and Sir Roderick are off on a quest! They must solve the Uppercase prophecy and part 2 is centered around Bellissimo! The two, aided by a couple of friends, must defeat the four fearsome Oxymorons! Clues are found in their encounters with the Little Giant, the Jumbo Shrimp, the Living Dead, and the Moronic Ox. If Bellissimo can solve this part, she can obtain the Treasure of Ages!
The author, Michael Young, crafts a magical narrative that is action-filled, fun, and captivating! Each character is deliberately woven into the storyline. The dialogue is entertaining, capturing the essence of each character and their purpose, and keeps the narrative moving quickly.
The narrator, Kevin Perkins, continues to amaze me! He effortlessly transitions between male and female characters, giving each a distinct, consistent voice throughout the narrative. I've enjoyed his work for years, but only now realize the full extent of his talent. His vocal range is impressive, with female voices as skillfully rendered as the male ones.
This is one of those rare finds that bring a smile to your face as you listen to the highly talented Kevin Perkins and enjoy the delightful fun created by Michael Young! Together they bring this book to life!

Bellissimos taco-fueled quest to conquer Oxymorons
Oxen and Morons is a hilariously quirky romp through the Beandom, where every pun-packed moment keeps you grinning. Michael Young's sharp wit and Kevin Perkins' energetic narration make Bellissimo's taco-fueled quest to conquer Oxymorons an absolute delight. If you’re craving a clever, laugh-out-loud fantasy adventure, this one’s a true treasure!

A delight!
This is a witty and intelligent story, not a standalone, but the second book in "A Wonderful Week for a Quest" series. I hadn't read the first story and it took quite some time to get my bearings straight to understand the plot and, once I did, it became delightful. In this quest, Bellissimo and Sir Roderick are tasked with defeating four menacing Oxymorons. As they encounter Little Giant, the Living Dead, Jumbo Shrimp and the Moronic Ox, they are able to find the treasure. With a nod to Taco Tuesday and the most delicious, nutritious bean, there's no way you can read this book without a smile on your face. The narration by Kevin Perkins is animated and delightful!

More fun at the Beandom
I really can't decide which part I enjoyed the most, but this second part of our friend's adventure was as fun and epic as the first book. I can't thank enough Michael D. Young for kindly providing me with this book; I'm definitely here to stay as a fan of the author. Want to hear more about Jack, Rod, Bell, and ELM. I love how Bell's character has developed and grown. I think she's my fav.

Amusing From Beginning To End
I was very entertained by this second book in the series. There were times I laughed out loud as the story was so funny. I liked the characters. I thought the dialogue and quips were clever and amusing. I enjoyed the underlying message which was both memorable and moving. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I was amazed at the versatility of Keven Perkins' narration. His performance was a joy to listen to and added to my enjoyment of the story. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.

Amusing
Received from Originstoryapp.
As the title says this is a rather amusing book. The story is simple and has odd developments which makes this a great story for young readers.
I was happy with the ending and the extra short stories at the end were also amusing to hear.
