Evil Is Coming – Worse than You Imagine

We live in an anxious age. Long-held certainties, cherished beliefs, and social trust are crumbling. Don’t expect things to get better. For too long we have taken our Christian heritage—the heritage upon which America was built—for granted. But we’re rapidly, and now inevitably, losing the Christian culture that shaped the American republic. What will take its place is a despotism—and a new paganism, worse than the old, because it will be based on a hatred of Christianity.

In his stunning new book, Pagan America, author John Daniel Davidson offers a stark but honest assessment of America’s future: “America as we know it will come to an end. Instead of a republic of free citizens, we will be slaves in a pagan empire.”

There is, he warns, no escape. We can only brace ourselves and prepare for a future when power will determine every relationship. Morality as we know it, as a Christian inheritance, will be forfeit, replaced by state-enforced “morality.” Violence will be common—doled out at the hand of an all-powerful state and its corporate allies.

There are hard times ahead, but we are not without hope. Christianity emerged within the confines of a pagan empire. Davidson shows how with courage, fortitude, and faith, it will be our duty and privilege to defend Christianity and restore its claims in what is likely to be a terrible and brutal dark age.

Sad but True

Excellent read. From the historical narrative that paved our way to the present chaos, to an insightful glimpse in to the future along with a call to action.

Incredibly sobering and hopeful

Incredibly sobering and hopeful. Seems to start off with the idea of a science fiction novel, but the fiction and the science quickly evaporate away.

It is an informative look at the past and a sobering look at the future.

I highly recommend this book; Davidson looks at our nation's history before plunging his readers into a future America no longer under God but under gods. This book is hard-hitting, sobering, and full of facts, cited sources, and credible data.

Message of Truth, No Punches Pulled

If you can stomach hearing the truth of the reality of the present and the future if Christianity and America in the West, you’ll hear it here.

a very insightful overview of American history American status now and the future to come.

this book very clearly and simply makes arguments for why America is the way it is today where it's heading and how we can look at the past in both Americas founding and in the very ancient past to see where America's futures heading towards. it's an excellent book I enjoyed it very much.

Insightful; accurate projections for the future.

More thoughtful than Return of the Gods by Jonathan Cahn, but reinforces the idea we are being overwhelmed by the old pagan deities.

Thought Provoking

Great read and very thought provoking. I enjoyed the historical context of paganism and how it is on the rise again today in a modern way.

Dark times are coming

This was a facinating history on paganism and how we're headed there again. From vikings, to Aztecs, to AI and todays technology, we need to be aware of what paganism is. This book explains how we are closer to a pagan society then a Christian society. And the last chapter gives some direction on what we as Christians can do. We will win.

Truth - difficult to hear but needed.

Not only compares our situation to past examples when available, but also tells what is different - and presents a clear wake up call. Then provides some practical ideas of what we need to do as Christians and the church moving forward.
