Advice that actually works!
This audiobook is great! The steps were clear, doable, and, most importantly, they actually worked. Ever feel like you are walking around on eggshells with your teenager? After trying a few of the techniques, you will notice small but meaningful changes. Conversations will stop spiraling into fights, and your teen actually will start opening up more. It will not be overnight magic, but it will give you the tools to stop making things worse and start making them better. If you’re struggling to communicate without frustration or tension, this is worth a listen. It can help you break the cycle, and you will be grateful for that!

Helpful and Reassuring Advice for Parenting Teens
Parenting Teens gave me exactly the kind of support I was looking for. The seven steps are clear and easy to remember, and they really helped me rethink how I approach conversations with my teen. The audiobook made me feel less alone and more confident about staying calm and connected, even during tough moments. I liked that it focused on building a stronger relationship, not just fixing behavior. If you're feeling stuck or frustrated, this is a great listen that offers both encouragement and useful tools.

Info to help parents with teens
Each of the seven steps the author discusses could be a life changer for some parent. I listened with hopes I could pass along the audiobook to friends of ours, and I think this will a great source of info for any parents with teenagers, or even pre-teens. I thought the information about teaching your teens about financial literacy, with so many basic money skills lacking these days was very important.
The chapter and information about parental self-care was a great read and I hope parents take that from the book for themselves.

Great guidance
An excellent audiobook to help parents navigate the tumultuous teen years. I enjoyed the practical nature of the advice and the focus on managing your approach/tone, to be an active listener. It's not just about issues your teen is navigating but how you handle it as the parent. It covers a wide range of topics, including social media, contraception, and focus on self-care. The information felt honest in that she does not make it seem all easy and coming up roses, but acknowledges that it can be a difficult time; very relatable.

This book delivers exactly what it promises
As the father of a teenage girl, I know first-hand that communication can sometimes be challenging. I was a teenager once, but the world has changed significantly since then. For example, social media didn't exist when I was her age, so it's a whole new territory to explore. I appreciated how this book addresses both sides of the equation, offering tools to empower teens while reminding parents to prioritize their self-care as well. The personal anecdotes make the content relatable, and the scientific grounding adds credibility to her advice. The narrator’s tone was warm and engaging, making it feel like a heart-to-heart chat rather than a lecture. I highly recommend this book for anyone with teenage (or soon-to-be teenage) children.

Improve Your Relationship with Your Teenager
If you are a parent of a teen, this book could be a lifesaver for your relationship. In "Parenting Teens," the author discusses strategies for communication that will help foster trust and help them grow emotionally. The advice on listening and guiding your teen is invaluable and helps to empower them to grow up into a confident adult. I like that the 7-step approach is simple and practical and can be implemented almost immediately, during times of conflict, and even times where things are going well between the parent and teen. I definitely related in terms of how my own parenting style was and I could have benefited from implementing some, if not all, of these strategies when I was raising my son.
