About this listen
In Dick Swap, Keith and Kevin found themselves in a situation where one of their penises got lost and they hadn't found it by the end of the book. Party! Patio! is the exciting sequel to that book. Again Keith and Kevin find themselves in a situation, as well as Joan, Kevin's wife, who something might have happened to. The most exciting thing about this book is all the great new people they meet and the adventures they have at Applebee's and other wonderful places. It's a book full of really tense and dramatic situations, and it's not very long.

A remarkable writing debut, filled with indelible moments, The Buy Side shows as no book ever has the rewards—and dizzying temptations—of making a living on the Street. Growing up in the 1980’s Turney Duff was your average kid from Kennebunk, Maine, eager to expand his horizons. After trying – and failing – to land a job as a journalist, he secured a trainee position at Morgan Stanley and got his first feel for the pecking order that exists in the trading pits.

Story
More than 60 years ago, William S. Burroughs and Jack Kerouac, two novice writers at the dawn of their careers, sat down to write a novel about the summer of 1944, when one of their friends killed another in a moment of brutal and tragic bloodshed. Alternating chapters, they pieced together a hard-boiled tale of bohemian New York during World War II, full of drugs and obsession, art and violence.

Story
Bukowski's alter ego, Henry Chinaski, returns, revelling in his eternal penchant for booze, women, and horse-racing as he makes the precarious journey from poet to screenwriter. Based on Bukowski's experiences when working on the film Barfly, the absurdity and egotism of the film industry are laid bare in this deadpan, touching, and funny glimpse into the endless negotiations and back-stabbings of la-la land. Hollywood is an irreverent jaunt that serves up the beating heart of Hollywood with razor-sharp humour.

Story
Perry's IQ is only 76, but he's not stupid. His grandmother taught him everything he needs to know to survive: she taught him to write things down so he won't forget them. She taught him to play the lottery every week. And, most important, she taught him whom to trust. When Gram dies, Perry is left orphaned and bereft at the age of 31. Then his weekly Washington State Lottery ticket wins him 12 million dollars, and he finds he has more family than he knows what to do with.

???
This is like Brett Easton Ellis and Richard Brautigan got together and gave birth to an autistic computer who wrote a short story. Incredible.

Better than the original.
It feels like the author really took what made the original funny and went all out. Joan's part of the story had me laughing so hard I embarrassed myself in traffic. (for some reason, in my head, Joan looked like Terence Stamp) The narrator's delivery was 100% perfect for the material. I only wish there was more.

Disgusting
A guy molests a corpse multiple times in this novel. It was extremely gross and homophobic.
