Despite the large number of saloons and ever-changing population, Joe and Faith were comfortable living in Idaho City. They had a nice home, and hoped to raise Sam and Katie in the town even after the gold was gone. But those expectations were dashed when a sequence of unrelated events forced them to leave Idaho Territory.

After Joe accepted a new job, the Beck family traveled to Utah Territory where they bought a ranch outside of Ogden. As the family adjusted to their new home, Joe and Faith hoped it would be their last. But even as they settled in, Joe’s new position required him to spend days away from the ranch. Days in which he would create new enemies, including one who would invade their new home.

All the history included from the wagon train to the automobile not to mention all the horses and dogs. All the exceptional experiences of Joe and importance of Journaling the life stories by Faith. All the honor and great character of Joe Beck make you wish he were a real person. Exceptional reading! Enjoy!

This series told the story of a great knight that traveled west and made it safe for people, his family and friends.
Starts on a hillside in Missouri where he becomes a knight by helping a soldier ward off the enemy. Travels with a wagon train, where he kept folks safe and met a strong woman that he lived for.
A small town deputy where he made people safe. To a US Marshal for a young country trying to find its way.
It’s, also, a love story that grips your heart. A man and woman devoted to each other, but also devoted to family and friends and those who were kept safe.
