About this listen

When the office lotto pool lands the winning ticket for four friends, each will embark on journeys that change their lives forever.

After years of stringing her along, Terrance has reluctantly married his longtime girlfriend, Sheray...just days before winning the lottery. When the money drives a wedge between them, Sheray leaves and Terrance learns the hard way to be careful what you wish for.

Angelique has been overweight since she was young. When she uses some of her winnings to get weight loss surgery, her new body and new attitude get her some new attention, and could cost her the man she loves.

After 12 years of marriage, Janine's husband announces that he's leaving her for another woman. When she realizes he could possibly get a portion of her prize, she devises a scheme to keep it from him. But when her plan backfires, will she lose it all?

Raquelle's life has just been turned upside down when she's caught embezzling money, which she started doing to support her sick son. With a boss bent on making her pay, Raquelle is facing hard time and about to discover there are some things her lottery winnings can't buy...or can they?

Didn’t expect the outcome

Loved the plot twist and turns as well as how the story wrapped up at the end…not everybody won but still a great story.

Too Bad People Don't Learn

This was a good listen. A good lesson, too. People are interesting...some never learn about motives, greed and creature habits.

Perfect depiction of "Mo Money, Mo Problems"

I feel it was a good book and it was realistic. Shows you how funny life is and money does not buy you happiness.

Another Hit!!!

I love this author, she never disappoints. I would definitely recommend to others. Since I am a Houstonian, I am thrilled that Houston is the setting for her books. Keep up the good work. Much love and never ending Blessings!!!

good book

I love this book... it tells how life can change in an instant and having a lot of money can not buy everything such as love. Thank you Reshonda Tate Billingsley for writing an awesome story! All of the narrators performed greatly for each character!
