Publisher's summary

An indentured healer. A doomed prince. A nightmarish curse.

When Persis Ophne travels to Gelaira to heal the dark elf prince, the young dune elf stumbles into a kingdom brimming with prejudice and treachery. Her oath—and heart—are further tested when her mistress orders her to kill Prince Haryk.

When she discovers the blind prince is under a malignant curse, she taps the deepest reserves of her sand magic to confront the sentient affliction devouring his body and soul. But trying to break Haryk's curse unearths long-buried secrets and an ancient evil that threatens to consume the Shadewood Forest. Persis will have to choose how far she will go for the one who stole her heart.

Will Persis and Haryk's forbidden love survive a powerful blight and bloody betrayals?

This story has some unique creative elements. Well written, excellent descriptive narrative. Magic, love, evil, nightmares, it keeps moving from beginning to end.
The reader did a fantastic job with the story character voices etc. well chosen for the story. It is a story I will listen to more than once.

the enteraining story

Everly's stories always have an unexpected twist at just the right moment to keep you guessing until the end. Fun characters, interesting story and descriptions of setting so well written you can clearly see the locations are some of the things you have to look forward to. The reader has a wonderful voice and is well suited to the story. I'll be starting it again just to catch all the details I missed the first time. Ok, and to just plain enjoy the story again!

Love it

In all honesty, I don’t normally like male voices for female voices, so it took me a sweet minute to get used to the narrator, and I found increasing the speed a little bit more than my usual preference really helped. But my oh my, once I adjusted to the narrator I was hooked with his story telling. He knocked it out of the ball park. Also helps the story itself is captivating.

So glad I gave Peaceweaver a listen! I hope book 2 gets recorded as well, that’s my favorite in the series. ❤️

Sweet and Clean

The plot and world were very interesting! I wasn't a HUGE fan of the voice actor, but I got over it quickly. It's a very sweet and adorable romance between to young adults who don't quite know what they're doing. It was a very fun listen, and I will be listening to the next one once it's recorded. :)
