Insightful and Practical

This audiobook does a great job of explaining the connection between perfectionism and anxiety. I appreciated the clear breakdown of hidden behaviors that contribute to the cycle and the actionable strategies for overcoming them. The advice is practical and easy to apply, though some concepts felt a bit repetitive. Still, it’s a helpful resource for anyone looking to break free from overthinking and self-criticism. Worth a listen for personal growth and mindset shifts!

Quiet your inner critic~

This audiobook helps quiet that voice in our heads that repeats unhelpful negative things. Instead, it teaches you to rewrite that narrative by outlining how to replace them with realistic self-talk and be kind to yourself. OMGosh! Did I ever need to hear that. Love love love this book!

Great book

This is an amazing audiobook about how being a perfectionist is related to anxiety. I related very much so with the authors personal story and found it helpful to know that I am not alone on my journey. I definitely felt inspired with some of the learned behaviors, such as delegating tasks And kind of rethinking when things are OK and aren’t OK. For whatever reason a lot of us learned to be perfectionist early on in life and it’s a hard habit to break, especially when it leads to anxious behavior. But this book does teach that progress does not happen overnight but with small successes and small steps forward, you can achieve some great results. Chock full of good info and exercises to facilitate change.

Backed by Science, Not Just Feel-Good Advice!

This isn’t one of those books that just tells you to “think positive” or “stop worrying.” Every strategy in here is backed by real psychology and research, so you know it actually works. I found the book was well researched and flowed well. The narrator was easy to listen to. Overall, I found this book very well intentioned and a great listen.

This book!

I often think if I can't do it perfectly, I just won't do it. This book challenged me to think about that differently. It gave tips to leave behind the black and white thinking and seek a less perfect (but productive) middle ground. It was super helpful and I learned alot from this book.
