Great book. Better than expected.

This book went deeper and broader than I thought it would, and actually hit on some key areas of career management. I recommend it for anyone running a small business or navigating through any organization.

Great approach, too much filler, last hour is meh.

"it's ok to be yourself" as long as who and what you are is the image of perfection devoid of any personality and adheres to strict conservative traditions.

the book spends far too much time on superficial matters without sufficient real world examples other than the most iconic people who ironically succeeded by not following her advice. referencing Oprah and Steve Jobs does not make up for it's shortcomings. her best references was with the For Dummies brand, common major chains like McDonald's, and others, but she missed out on the opportunity to really zero in on comprehensive branding strategies, and what happens when companies like Cadillac produce ugly budget vehicles that aren't congruent with their beautiful luxury brand.

The main step by step guides are the meat of the book. Specific resources, specific agendas, itemizing a things to do list to create a brand and audit it multiple times, and regularly as long as it is utilized.
