About this listen

This is the most important house flip I've ever done. It's a gorgeous California home by a known architect, it contains the final piece of the map we need to unite the magical realms, and the body of Byron, my demigod ghost, is supposedly here. That's a lot on one girl's plate.

Of course, no home renovation is without surprises. In this case, we have a whole slew of nosy old wizard neighbors, a lonely undine who lives in the pool and won't leave, 1970s decor worthy of the Brady Bunch, and my struggles not to get distracted by Byron, Graham, Jake, and Jasper and get stuff done. But the biggest surprises come when we unite the magical realms for the first time in a thousand years and bring Byron to life...and begin to uncover a dark truth about wizard's familiars.

We thought they were faithful companions, but it appears that part of the reason for breaking the realms apart was to bind them to our side. Now, they're free and the wizard councils aren't happy about it, to say the least. My cousin Piers is determined to undo my work, and my royal blood might be the only thing that can stop him - but at what cost?

Contains mature themes.

I can't even put in words all this series has to offer. Narrators, storyline, character development where all exceptional. The emotional range from funny to fearfully and of course just the right amount of smolder and spice. I never would thought house flipping as the bases of such a complex and compeling series.

Wow!😆🥰😯

it was a good story line with nice little surprise twists. it was a Binge-Listen that totally interupted my sleeping habbits.

Good Read!

The whole series was pretty well done.
The last book was great and wrapping things up. You see everyone come together and fight some battles. Other characters relationships grow and so much more.

The one irritating thing about this book is the main female character in the battles. She acts dumb at times. Not great at magic battles, but she thinks it’s fine to run into them without asking for help. Thinks she can handle them and then admits seconds later she can’t. She knows this throughout the series and never bothers to train or better her magic like others. Rather work on houses knowing what’s to come.
Even with that, it cones up little in the book. So you’re only frustrated a little.

The rest was amazing. Had everything needed in a book like this. Not that many books are like this one. Romance. Sexy bits. Drama. Action. And more. Really had it all.
I highly suggest this is one to read.

Readers/ narrators are bad ass and amazing to listen to. Bring emotions in the words.
I hope this author has more books like this one.

Great series

The first two books I loved. This final one though did not do it for me. I found myself rolling my eyes a lot at the decisions being made. They threw so many weird plot lines in and rushed everything so none of it made sense in the end. The HEA was bad, the chapters with Beven could have been good but were just not. I'm sad at how it all went down. The final battle was not good. The sex scenes were rushed and forced, they all awkwardly started. Also the CONSTANT NAME MISTAKES ruined soooo much for me! The narrator would constantly mix of the guys names!!! Ugh!!! Just a no all around for me with this finale!

I regret this one...

Interesting world and I liked getting to know Bevin in this one. I can’t help but point out that if Hel spent as much time practicing magic defense and attacks as she does having sex, she wouldn’t be losing so hopefully in every confrontation. These are life or death stakes, but she’s focused on renovation rather than covering vulnerabilities that her enemies utilized previously. The narrators are fantastic, and there are plenty of spicy scenes. I just think they could have been fewer to add more confidence/skill development magically.

Unbalanced story development
