About this listen
After Phoenix Night’s partner died in the line of duty, something changed inside him. He left the force, using his talents to catch cheating spouses in the act as a private investigator. Being a PI is easy work. Letting him work through the weird changes he’s been going through since his partner's death. Changes no one can explain…
An old colleague from the force asks for his help solving a string of murders involving young women. Every one of the victims has one thing in common - a bizarre symbol left on their bodies. Agreeing to help, Phoenix begins to uncover something dark and sinister. He realizes there is more to the world than what is seen, making him realize what he’s becoming.
And if that wasn’t enough, he agrees to help Aurora Black find her missing sister. The more he digs into Aurora’s sister's mysterious disappearance, the more he realizes it may be connected to the murders - and possibly what happened to him the night his partner died…. The night everything changed.
Aurora is slowly breaking down his walls. He swore off letting anyone close, for fear of losing someone again. But the more she pushes, the more his walls crumble.
But what happens when Phoenix discovers what Aurora is hiding?
Phoenix knows this…he won’t stop until he has the answers.
All of them.
Full of mystery, foul language, and hot sexual encounters. Intended for the mature listener 18+.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Little do they know that colony will become permanent–and the last stand of the human race. Because, without warning, every single person left on Earth simply...vanishes. Not everything is as it seems....
This is a hot and steamy paranormal romance. Phoenix doesn't realize what has happened to him only that he has changed. His PI work has brought him to Aurora. Aurora's sister, Laney, is missing and needs Phoenix's help. This story is action packed as Phoenix and Max, an police investigator and friend, try to uncover what is happening to girls they keep finding, and is Aurora's sister somehow involved.
I'd love to see more of Max and Laney and more from this world LC Taylor has created.
Narrator Xander Stone does an amazing job in bringing these characters to life.

Phoenix & Aurora!
Phoenix Night is an action packed, steamy, paranormal romantic suspense! This book has a little of everything keeping me intrigued and entertained. Phoenix is a PI and looking into a possible serial killing of young girls. When approached by Aurora, a woman whose sister is missing too, the case becomes personal. There is something about Aurora that has his undivided attention. And he will not let her down. Phoenix and Aurora are great characters. Aside from their chemistry, they have a true connection that only aids in their abilities.
Xander Stone narrates this a deep, alpha voice perfect for Phoenix. It is my first listen by him, and I really enjoyed his voices, pace and tone.

This book is explosive, it’s full of mystery, hot sex and intrigue. The author has a wonderful imagination and a great attention to details. This book is a magnificent story. I absolutely loved listening to this audiobook. I can’t wait for more books in this series.
The narrator does a magnificent job with the characters and voices of each character! The narrator makes the story come to life. This might be a short story but it well worth the read/ listen.

Very good
The story flows well, kept my attention. The narration was perfect for the story. The narrator makes or breaks most audio books. Give this one a try you will not be disappointed.

Good beginning
I like the story but the sex kept getting in the way of the story. Never had a story do that before. The pi story line is a great story line but with all the sex in it you miss it.

Mysterious and Magical 💜
I love a good old fashion murder, maybe not quite old fashion lol. Especially when the private detective is hot and sexy. This story was intriguing and well balanced between hot sex, paranormal & mystery.
The narration was wonderful.
This is book 1 in this series.
I recommend this book.
