About this listen

Case Keenum has traveled one of the most unique paths in the NFL. Recruited by just one college, undrafted, and released three times, Case has overcome every obstacle to become a successful starting quarterback. In 2017, Keenum captured America’s imagination by leading the Minnesota Vikings to a 13-3 record and an NFC North title. His game-winning touchdown pass in the final seconds of their divisional playoff game against the Saints, the "Minneapolis Miracle," made Case part of NFL history.

Keenum shares stories from every stage of his life, starting out as a ball boy for his father’s college team in West Texas, going on to win a state title in high school, and rewriting the NCAA record book at the University of Houston. A devastating knee injury almost derailed his football career, but helped him get closer to the woman who would soon become his wife.

Throughout his story, Case will explain how being a Christian helped him navigate the winding path to success. No matter what obstacle has been placed in front of him, Case believes God has a plan for him. That’s why he plays football and that’s why he’s writing this book: To glorify God and to help others who face adversity in their everyday life.

“Am I a football player who happens to be a Christian?” Case writes, "No, I’m a Christian who happens to be a football player. That’s my calling. That’s my defining characteristic. Once I realized that, everything else fell into place. I became a better football player and, more importantly, a better person.”

great perspective

I'm a Bronco fan so when I heard Case Keenum was going to start for them this year I started looking for information on him.

I am real excited that someone so grounded and grateful is going to be a part of the Denver Broncos . when I got about 1/4 the book, I called my children and told them to get their kids together and listen to a chapter of this every night and then talk about it with them. they all started immediately and are loving it.

I have a feeling Case will be with the Broncos for as long as he wants to be. I'm getting all eight of my grandsons his bronco Jersey this weekend.

GO CASE!!! Keep doing what your dad taught you and what you've taught all of us now. I think from what you've written that you did in fact marry up.

A must listen!!!

Case Keemun is not only a great quarterback, but also a man after God's own heart. In a world seemingly so full of athletes stuck on themselves, Case is a breath of fresh air. His love for the Lord comes across as genuine, and his passion for his wife and family, not to mention the game of football, is clear to anyone who listens to this book. As a Texans fan, I certainly hope the Lord leads him back to Houston before his playing days are over. This is a great book! Well done Case!!!

inspirational read

Case really did try hard with all the tasks that God put in front of him. Not drafted in the draft would have been hard for any unbeliever but he was fine because he knew it was God's will. Then playing hard for the years and now he will be playing for the Redskins. that is the only reason I started this book. I wanted to know who we were getting, and I finally believe that we are getting a great leader and great man for the quarterback position. thank you Case and remember. HTTR

Needs to be a Best Seller

Great audio book. Case Keenum does a great job narrating. Really good job giving the us an in depth look into who he is and the challenges he's been through. Very motivating. And makes me want to do more in life.

Great Book! Did not disappoint!

I am always skeptical when an athlete calls themselves a Christian. I got this book because I'm a huge Bronco fan and wanted to learn more about our new QB. Wow, Case not only has a solid testimony but he also is relatable. I have never recommended a book to my pastor before but I did with this one. What a great book and a great guy!

More like a church talk

If you're Christian and enjoy talks/devotionals, then you'll love this book. If you're just a Keenum fan, you'll still get a good but basic bio with scriptures sprinkled throughout. If you're not Christian but can still appreciate the philosophies of religion, it's actually a decent book. It's not a deep bio like you'd find with Jeff Pearlman, but I've followed Case for a few years and really enjoyed his take on the constant life changes. I'm no longer religious, but can still appreciate (and love) his dedication to a balanced life--including date nights, family first, and not losing his identity. Great guy I'd love to meet.
