About this listen

Plutocracy, Tyrannosaurus Rex of the Anthropocene analyzes the current reality of post-capitalism from the perspective of the hegemonic power and its democracy hijacked by millionaires, lobbies, and the Military-Financial Complex that dominates the domestic politics of the United States and the geopolitics of the West. At the same time, it reflects on the crisis of capitalist civilization that began in the 16th century and of liberal democracies with the return of fascism in its different forms, of anti-Enlightenment as a reaction to a totalitarian "Ancien Régime" and the preceding feudalism of the Middle Ages, which is radicalized by deindustrialization, the demobilization of social organizations, the de-Enlightenment of education, the return to tribal and nationalist religiosity as a narrative unifier and fragmenter, and the radicalization of the alienation of the individual through the sermon of traditional and digital media.
