Will Travis is an undercover corporate investigator whose job involves low-key assignments like checking out the service at Washington, DC, hotel bars and reporting back to management. But his evening takes an unexpected turn when he interrupts an attempted murder. Soon, Will is on the run with Claire Harrington, the daughter of a former congressman whose suicide, she claims, was murder—and she wants Will to help her prove it.

Will is hesitant to believe Claire, but he and her father both attended West Point, and the cadets' honor code binds them. He's already in too deep—hit men are after both of them, and he and Claire will have to trust one another if they're going to survive. As the danger sends them deep into the heart of our nation's capital, time is running out to stop a high-profile presidential candidate who may also be a killer—and who only needs to avoid justice until election night to make the ultimate power grab.

"Political Suicide takes off at light speed and doesn't slow down until the unbelievably exciting climax."Midwest Book Review

Decent story

The Ai narration was terrible. Monotone cadence and multiple mispronounced words. No emotion. I will be unlikely to chose another Ai narrated book.

Narration is hard to follow We

There’s just one thing I can say think uncanny Valley in audio. The whisper sync robot narration drones on endlessly and is practically impossible to follow. Each character sounds exactly the same so unless you’re really closely listening, it just starts droning on. I found myself losing track, the farther I got into the book the more I lost track. I wanted to to listen to it all the way through to see if the other reviewers were correct they were. While I think this type of narration may be good for short instructions and very brief audio, in a book, it is absolutely, not good. this is the first and last time I will ever listen to a book like this.
