About this listen
Two books in one! Compare how an Illinois farm and an Idaho potato farm use cow poop to grow our food. Full of fun, colorful illustrations that include cows, pigs, horses, goats, dogs, cats, tractors, poop spreaders, semi-trucks, compost turners, skid steers, and lots of poop.
Book one: "Poop on the Potato Farm"
Holy cow, this farm has no dung! How do they grow stuff without bovine buddies pooping 15 times a day?
Kelly can’t wait to visit her potato-farming relatives in Idaho. And with her faithful dog Willow by her side, she’s excited to discover the differences with her other family’s farm in Illinois. But when she gets to Idaho, she’s shocked to find out they’re successfully raising crops with no moo-ers and shakers to create compost!
Without any cowpies, how do they grow those taters so big?
Packed with farming facts, funny illustrations, and sidesplitting antics, kids will love this story about why this nutrient-full manure is crucial to supplying America’s essential foods. With a trip to the local dairy producer and learning about how natural fertilizer is collected and distributed, your children will become true excrement experts!
Poop on the Potato Farm is a gorgeously illustrated children’s picture book full of zany stories, amazing real-life facts, and games to play along the way.
Book two: "Everything on the Farm Poops"
Kids everywhere are fascinated with the farm and think poop is funny! "Everything on the Farm Poops" will take you on a visit to the farm and show you all of its stinky charm. But that stinky stuff has a purpose. Because without it, the garden and crops won’t grow.\
Bonus: There are two games included in the back of the book!

Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

An absolute gem!
OK so I may be biased here, because I'm a big fan of animal poo and educating people about animal poo. (I work with whales and part of my stint is explaining to people how the O2 we breathe is in part thanks to whale doodoo, but that's another story ....)
But I absolutely think that this book is brilliant--not just the subject matter, but also the journey it takes you on! Well, journeys! I'm a curious human that loves to know how things work, where things come from, where they go/what they turn into afterwards. And if you can learn and also be super entertained by the learning process? Huge win all around!
And you definitely don't have to be a kid to enjoy this compilation!

the stinkiest listen :)
Wow! This book is such fun, though it's a short listen. Kids will enjoy this for sure. The book combines two entertaining and informative stories that revolve around the humorous world of farm animals and their poop. This compilation provides a unique and engaging way to teach kids about biology and farm life while keeping them entertained. It's a must-have addition to any children's bookshelf, offering laughter and learning in equal measure. Educational audiobook for both children and adults.

Educational Book About Poop
I found this to be very interesting and educational. I never knew poop was so important and useful. I love learning things from a different perspective especially when it has to do with where my products and food originate from.

WORTH-LISTENING FOR KIDS!
Wow!!! I never knew an audiobook can be this much interesting to listen to!! It was so fun to listen to this short audiobook. Informative and entertaining at the same time! The interesting stories by author were about the farm animals and their poop. A very unique way of teaching children about biology, farm life and much more.
Moreover, the narration was so engaging and soothing that it will compel the listeners to go till the end of the audiobook.
I would highly recommend this audiobook for kids specially, as it is 2 in 1 and informative and humorous at the same time.

Fun book
This is one of the most enjoyable audiobooks I’ve listened to. The Poop of the farm book reminded me of my fun childhood growing in the farm with different animals. This also helps your children become more aware about things going on in the farm, brings awareness and information to kids, and teaches them correlation between poop, crops, and so on!

A Smelly, Yet Essential poop
I really enjoyed this book! It reminded me of my farm upbringing and how important poop is for growing our food. The colorful illustrations are engaging and brought back great memories of farm life. The story about Kelly's visit to an Idaho potato farm without cow poop was both fun and informative. It shows that poop, while funny, is crucial for our food. I appreciate how the author made learning so enjoyable for kids. This book is a fantastic way to teach them about farms and why poop matters for our gardens and crops. It's a must-read for young ones who are curious about the farm.

Fun way to learn about poop!
This is such a delightful duo, two really fun books in 1! The author brings an exciting and educational twist to the world of farming. With a focus on the unique role of cow poop in growing crops. Kids love poop, and this author uses this to teach about the benefits of poop in a really engaging way! I learned a lot about natural fertilizers and the vital role of cow manure, all while having a lot of fun, as the storytelling voice of the author is great, and the narration was fantastic!!! Highly recommend, fun for the whole family!
