About this listen
When writer David Thompson receives a large envelope with a Paris postmark, he's intrigued. The sender, an elderly woman, has promised to reveal secrets from World War II. David, who is writing the biography of a prominent American from that era and his travels to Paris, decides to send Miranda Farrell, his research assistant, to meet with the elderly woman.
There, Miranda also meets Gus O'Neil who has reluctantly accepted an assignment by the FBI to investigate her. Due to her previous travels as a courier, she has triggered the agency's interest. But not only do the contents of the envelope lead Miranda to the elderly woman, they also lead her to danger. Together, Gus and Miranda become involved in a romantic adventure.
