Overcoming the Never-Enough Mentality to Experience True Kingdom Abundance
Prosperity. It's one of the most dividing words in the church. Some pastors use it to tell their congregations that God will make them all rich, rich, rich! Others spurn the word and insist that true Christlikeness is found in forsaking all worldly riches and possessions.
The truth is, both are right - and both are wrong.
With refreshing honesty, humor, and keen insight, best-selling author and pastor Kris Vallotton mines the Scriptures in an eye-opening study of what the Bible really says about money, poverty, riches, and wealth. And what he finds is sure to shake up what you thought you knew - including these surprising truths:
- Jesus was not poor and homeless
- Heaven is described in the language of wealth
- Poverty is a mindset that holds us back from true wealth
- You determine your wealth based on how much, and how well, you love yourself
- God wants all his children to be wealthy, though not everyone should be rich
Kingdom prosperity begins from the inside out. When you learn to cultivate a mindset of abundance, no matter your circumstances, you will begin to experience the wealth of heaven in every area of your life.

I was convicted about things I had previously done and considered doing as it pertained to money but moreso encouraged that wealth is from God, there are laws about it and principles to obtain it.
I believe everyone should read this book even if it’s not your goal to be financially wealthy but wealthy in terms of quality of life and mentally about how you see wealth and riches.
GREAT GREAT BOOK! Oh and he’s soooo funny.
Amazing Book on wealth for Christians and all

Vallotton has blunt and abrasive way of communicating. Combine that with a topic most Christian’s disagree with and you have a book that will stretch you and bring to awareness your thoughts and feelings on the same topic. I think this is a good thing because then you have an opportunity to really see if you want to keep your beliefs or accept some of his. Growth is good and works best when you are aware of your own tinted glasses.
I found his examples regarding business to be practical. He makes it easy to see how to be a Christian and a business person at the same time. I enjoyed listening to him recount situations were he asked Gods wisdom for his business decisions.
I would definitely recommend this book. I think it would be a great one to have a hard copy of because there are several concepts that would be nice to go back to, reread and put into practice. Will be listening to it again.
Will stretch the reader but worth it.
