So, what are affirmations? An affirmation is a positive assertion. It is an expression of an agreement that something is true. When we make an affirmation, it does not necessarily line up with apparent observable facts. Our affirmation is actually designed to either affirm present observable facts, OR to speak a Truth intended to change observable facts. Some would say that the person is speaking lies. Not so. What they are expressing are deeper truths. When you plant an idea into the unified field where all things exist, the results are NEVER observable by the naked eye, yet they are substantive and real (Hebrews 11:1; 2 Corinthians 5:7). Thoughts are real things that are carried on frequencies. The frequency signature that you project creates the experience that you enjoy.
When speaking affirmations, you have to get past the thought that what you are speaking isn’t true. It actually IS true if you are speaking those things in faith. If you realize that the thoughtforms you are creating are real, then you know that they are TRUTH.
Another thing to consider is that your subconscious mind is filled with references that go against change. If all you have ever known is poverty, then when you speak an affirmation of prosperity, your subconscious gets a little nervous. He sought out sound counsel and advice and God gave him the wisdom to discern the right thing to do. None of it just fell into Solomon’s lap. He had to do his part.
