In addition to being a law professor and practicing attorney, Ms. Nguyen is a devoted mother to her son, Michael, who is currently a Junior at the University of Texas in Austin. Ms. Nguyen was honored to be interviewed in the book, “Legally Mom: Real Women’s Stories of Balancing Motherhood and Law Practice” written by Author Anne Murphy and published by the American Bar Association. In Ms. Nguyen’s book interview, her story of balancing life as a single mother and attorney chronicled her personal background entailing the inspiration of her own mother who immigrated here from Vietnam. Her immigrant mother inspired Ms. Nguyen into becoming an attorney and ultimately the woman that she is proud to be today – one who is dedicated to her family, has faith in her abilities, demonstrates integrity in her work as an attorney and the courage to fight for the right cause for those who need a voice.

Ms. Nguyen is very compassionate and determined to serve our community by being a strong advocate for underrepresented groups in need of legal representation.
