About this listen

They hurt me. They fought for me. They claimed my heart. And now it’s my turn to fight for them.

I never meant to fall for the three men who were once my enemies. There was a time when I would’ve happily danced on their graves, but now I’ll sacrifice myself to the devil himself if it keeps them alive.

But I even if I have to marry Austin McKenna, I won’t let him win this war.

Because there’s more at stake now than just survival. I’m fighting for a life I never knew I wanted. I’m fighting for the men who’ve woven themselves into the fabric of my heart.

Maddoc, Logan, and Dante have shown me that I have just as much darkness running through my veins as they do. They’ve taught me how to embrace it. And now it’s time for me to let that darkness out.

This world of theirs is violent, brutal, and dangerous…

But I can be too.

This is the final book in the Ruthless Hearts series. It contains steam, violence, and dark subject matter. Please listen at your own discretion.

Ruthless Hearts- full trilogy review

Caliie, I love the Ruthless Hearts series. Here is my complete review

SPOILER ALERT FOR THE RUTHLESS GAMES AND RUTHLESS HEARTS SERIES.

After discovering Ruthless Games (my first Callie Rose reverse harem series), Callie Rose become a favorite and I stalked her books. I was sucked in by the Halston underground criminal world. So, When Ruthless Hearts book 1 was released, I was on it. When I listened to book 1, I immediately felt the similarities to Ruthless Games. I got receipts... see my dated review of book 1.

I knew Ruthless Hearts was intertwined with Ruthless Games (i mean, duh) and finally book 2 confirmed it when THE SIX appeared. Again, see my dated review of book 2 (receipts!!!)

Waiting for book 3 was torture! When it was released, I binged it like the others. Overall, the entire series is very entertaining. BUT, I have one major critique:

As an audio book enthusiast, Lia Holland was not the best choice to narrate the FMC. Too robotic; her male voices are so "unsexy"; she sounds like the GPS navigation voice; she sounds the female "TERMINATOR". I had to skip through some of scenes because her reading was so unbearable. It totally killed the "mood".

*NOTE: If Lia Holland is reading this - I don't like to tear down other women. I love your voice in other books... just not this one.

My suggestion: ask Kasi Hollowell (The FMC narrator of Ruthless Games) to re-record the FMC in Ruthless Hearts. It would be so much better. Kasi's male voices are excellent. Keep CJ Grey for the male POV chapters. He's perfect with the male and female voices. Then re-release the entire trilogy at ONE PRICE.

ATTENTION AUDIBLE: stop nickle and diming your listeners!

I hope there's another "Ruthless" book series... maybe with Chloe (Rhiley's little sister) or with Caleb (Iyla Fairchild's recently discovered little brother). Hint HInt.

KEEP WRITING!

not realistic at all.

loved the books, but it just kept getting more and more unrealistic. between the gangs and f9rved marriage for a inheritance, that's sum is never mentioned. then to top it off the stripper with the possible millions or billions inheritance now is invited to RUN the gangs. .... yea right.

Excellent dual narration!

This book closes the story of Riley and her men. How it’s supposed to be.

Despite some repetition and therefore some lengths in the text, it is a good closure.
The spice is way more 🔥 than the other two books.

Great series

I really liked the series. Some of the gangster stuff with the inheritance was kind of stupid and not realistic, but other than that I loved all of it! The narrators were great.
