About this listen

A Romance and Mystery Novel, filled with Suspense

Two damaged souls, one uncertain path to redemption…

Fresh out of prison, Albert carries the weight of his past, desperate to atone for the pain he caused Ellyssa. His mission? To find and reconnect her with her long-lost sister. Along the way, fate intervenes.

Juliette is hiding more than just her visible pain; she's drowning in guilt over a secret she's trying to keep buried. But the past refuses to stay hid. The man who destroyed Juliette's life is still out there, and so is her former fiance who is still in love with her.

Before they can find peace, Albert and Juliette must face the truth – and their deepest, darkest fears.

Although I enjoyed book one, this book ticks all the boxes for me. I love seeing the previously selfish characters go through a real character development and be able to walk alongside them through heartbreak, despair and struggles as they reach beyond themselves to a Higher Power. The love story woven between two broken individuals is powerful and moving. It was difficult for me to “put down” this book. The narrator was great, my only complaint was the voice of the young boy at the inn who, in my onion, does not sound like an 8 year old boy but more like a 6 year old girl. 😀 Not like I could do a better narration. It was just a bit distracting for me.
I’m am VERY satisfied with this purchase and would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a clean read with sweet romance and spiritual growth in characters who faced real problems.
I look forward to the next books!
