 In this nineth book of the Isle of the Four Kingdoms, the Dragon Alliance members (sorcerers, royals, and dragons) are continuing to assess the devastation of several eruptions and aftershocks in the Seven Shields’ kingdom. The King of Seven Shields initiates the Kings’ K.A.R.E (Kingdoms Action Readiness Edict) emergency plan. The other Isle inhabitants, as well as the four surrounding isles inhabitants, must be alerted to the emergency plan and to the potential threat of other Isle eruptions and the aftermath. The Alliance members call on the Isle’s sorcerers and the ‘guiding’ spirits for assistance. Once again, the Alliance will need to draw on their skills, resilience, experience, and wit to determine strategies to search for a new home, quickly evacuate the Isle’s inhabitants, and ensure all live.
* As the Alliances members focus on their quest, members are assisting many in finding temporary safe areas as well as providing provisions for those villagers who have been evacuated from their home due to eruptions and fires or are injured. The Sorcery Academy offers safety for these evacuated villagers, plus housing, food, and caring for injuries. Other Alliance members are discussing plans for the evacuation of the Isle. Issues become more dire with the news of the probable total annihilation of the Isle.
* Knowing that the ‘guided’ spirits have been a vital asset in assisting the sorcerers on many issues, the Alliance members seek their knowledge. They learn that Spirits’ Scrolls exist and are located in one of the spirit’s caves. Could these scrolls contain information to assist the Alliance in finding a solution to this crisis? Several members travel to the cave and find crates full of scrolls. As the group scans through the parchments, they come upon two separate scrolls which reveal critical documents and essential actions needed to save their Isle.
