About this listen

The famed psalmist David wrote of the Lord preparing a table for him in the presence of his enemies. Some of those enemies were David’s family who initially excluded him from when the Lord wanted to anoint his head with oil, a sign God had chosen David as Israel’s future king. Later, his eldest brother Eliab tried to discourage the psalmist from fighting against Goliath, a battle the Lord would use to launch His anointed vessel and future king into national and international prominence. However, the Lord opened doors for David that no one could shut. David simply had to capitalize on those opportunities, which he certainly did. Many people view David simply as a psalmist, until the account of Jesus’s crucifixion cited a prophecy from a prophet. That prophet was David, and the prophecy of Jesus’s crucifixion is in Psalm 22, a Psalm of David. The king was not a psalmist and a prophet because a psalmist is a prophet. Likewise, there is more to being a psalmist than having musical gifts. Some psalmists are not anointed musical vessels at all.Psalmists Arise: Beyond the Music is an invitation for psalmists to arise and take their place with the other prophets, to include “prophetic intercessors”, at the table the Lord has prepared for them. It also showcases the multidisciplinary administrations the Holy Spirit bestows on psalmists to also function as poets, writers, artists and dancers. The Lord is not limited in His creativity. Therefore, it is time for us as the Body of Christ to stop trying to limit God and His anointed creative vessels known as psalmists. It is time for honor where there was dishonor.Psalmists arise for the glory of the Lord Jesus! Christianity Ministry & Evangelism Music
