About this listen

Unfortunately, most people don't know why they hate public speaking; a lot of people don't know why they feel fearful and negative about it. If you don't have a clue, I will state your possible fears.

I bet you have heard of the famous saying "conquer your fears". If only it were easy to achieve, but it's okay. You have to do something about it, and listening to this book is a good start. It tells me you are ready to learn and become a new version of yourself.

Let us first begin with understanding your fear. Know that your fear is not something that just pops up out of nowhere. To control your fear, you must know the cause of it. There's no way this book will assist you in your journey, but it's up to you. If you truly want to change, it will happen.

In this book you will find:

  • Introduction: Why Do You Feel Fear?
    • You feel insecure
    • Had a bad experience
    • Afraid of other people's expectations
    • You try to hide how nervous you are
    • You don't want to be judged
    • You are not prepared for a presentation
    • You feel uncomfortable
    • You compare yourself to others
  • Chapter 1: How to Deliver Confident Presentations
    • Master your topic and analyze your audience
    • Make an outline
    • Make your audience relate to what you are saying
    • Use visuals to highlight your point
    • Do not speak too slowly or quickly
    • Go straight to the point
    • Limit main points
  • Chapter 2: Things to Remember While Onstage

Past experiences affect a person's behavior. It's nothing but normal. People learn from their mistakes and use them as points of reference for how they behave.

If you had a bad experience before, you would probably detest public speaking forever. The possibility of that experience happening again scares you.

Not up to par

It is a very amateur recording and it sounds like whoever recorded it did not use a pop filter the plosives are very distracting.
