About this listen

From USA TODAY Bestselling Author, C. L. Stone, read Push and Shove, the sixth book in The Academy Ghost Bird Series.

Sang Sorenson struggles with her growing feelings when the Academy boys take her in and draw her closer into their world. They work together to uncover the true secrets happening at Ashley Waters High School, where Principal Hendricks will stop at nothing to take them all down.

Adding to their complications, Nathan's father shows up, and he's just as ruthless and violent as ever, beating up on Nathan. Sang offers Nathan refuge in her home, but Marie is fed up with the boys. She wants them out - all of them - and wants them to take Sang with them. Where will Sang go? What will happen to Nathan? And what about Mr. Hendrick's spies, watching all of them?

Kota, Victor, Silas, Nathan, Gabriel, Luke and North will have to focus to get out of this mess, but with Sang assisting them, they're struggling to keep control. They all promised not to make a move on Sang unless she initiates, but the tension is driving them all to distraction. With the help of Dr. Green and Mr. Blackbourne, they will have to stay strong and engaged. But A first kiss is imminent, and will cost them all more than they could ever have imagined.

5 star all the way! It took me a while to get used to the narrator, but now I'm definitely a fan. Can't wait for the rest of the series.

Push and Shove = 6th book = Spoilers

Sang is becoming more engrossed in the Academy and with the guys that it is beginning to take over her whole life. When she passes out during gym though Mr. Blackbourne steps in and grounds her. Trying to rest while not participating in all of the drama around her turns out to be more challenging than she expected. If you have read this book you will understand some of my favorite parts, North Shore, hunter green nail polish, mayor of North, just to name a few. 💖💖💖

FYI, I love Animal Crossing and how that game ends up in this series.

Amazing!

Poor Sang! She had to go through so much in this book. But she is getting closer with all the boys and slowly feeling a little more like she might actually belong in their group. But her life is complicated with them and her sister and the craziness at school. It’s a lot for a normal 16 year old, let alone s socially repressed and naive girl like Sang. The “A Report” at the end was quite telling... The next book should be awesome!

So much pain and drama

Nailed it again!
Natalie Eaton did an amazing job at making each character's voice differentiate. She did an fantastic job with the boys voices. Quite impressive.
C.L. Stone never fails at providing flawless writing that will keep you at the edge of your seat craving more and more. The individual relationships that Sang has with each of the boys is so unique. Her tenderness is so sweet. I cannot wait to begin the next book!

So Enjoyable

A great listen all the way through!
the plot gets really intense in this one and nearly every chapter had me on the edge of my seat so to speak.

Highly recommend!

So if you've gotten to this point in the series I'm offering a few things which I want to mention. For starters the narrator is sounding different. When she's doing Sang's voice it's so robotic, and the worst acting pretty much ever. What's weird is that when she's doing any other character she sounds great. It's so confusing. I almost opted for my kindle edition, but stuck it out.
Second I understand that Sang is naive, recovering from abuse and ignorant to so many things, but the amount of self doubt, dependence on the guys played out in her inner monologs can be overwhelming. Not to mention her inability to literally say anything at all. It's infuriating. The story is worth it though.

Frustrating but worth it
