Great Story, But Virtual Voice..Mmeh

This is great stroy. The main characters are likable and I got the sense of what it would look like behind a political campaign.

Because this is narrated by virtual voice you have to keep on top of who is talking. A good voice actor would have brought all of the characters to life with different sounding voices of each character instead of the monochromatic voice of the virtual voice.

The Story

I loved that this was not a black damsel in distress. Terri was a strong stand alone character that could hold her own. Adding Max just cherries on the top. Great listen. Enjoyed it.

It's been a while

It's been a while since reading something from Erosa Knowles. It's been a pleasure, but virtual voice is a no. Please do not use this not that I''m a narrator or actor but the voice has no inflection, no emotion, just plain nothing in terms of enjoyment. If Amazon has this to offer don't take it.

Storyline

The plot was good with engaging characters. One of highlights, was the female protagonist was on point, knew her own strengths and wouldn't let anyone diminish her worth. Only jarring note was narration as Virtual Voice was monotonous throughout entire read, lessening overall enjoyment.
