A Westwick Witches Cozy Mystery

Cendrine West can't catch a break. She's close to landing a new job, and things are getting cozy with sexy sheriff Tyler Gates. All that changes when she is kidnapped by renegade witch Aunt Pearl, who is hell-bent on avenging a friend's untimely death. It's Las Vegas or bust...for all the wrong reasons.

Rocco Racatelli is a hunky Vegas kingpin - and the next mob target. Lady Luck has dealt him a losing hand and he wants revenge. When Aunt Pearl is a little too eager to help, project Vegas Vendetta quickly escalates into an all-out mob turf war. As the witches are thrust into Sin City's seamy underworld, bodies pile up and secrets are exposed.

It's not just the Las Vegas heat that's scorching...Rocco is intent on winning Cen's heart. But she only wants the man she left behind in Westwick Corners. All she has to do is solve a murder, out-magic her ornery aunt, and take down the Las Vegas mafia. What could possibly go wrong?

When organized crime meets unorganized magic, anything can happen! As the body count climbs, it's clear that Cen needs more than a miracle in the desert to set things right.

Vegas Shenanigans!

Aunt Pearl is at it again and this time she has dragged Cendrine to Vegas where she is knee deep in her crazy shenanigans. Murder mysteries, witches, the mob and one crazy scenario after the other had me in stitches at times listening to this extremely entertaining story. There are also some unexpected twists and surprises. Colleen Cross has a real talent for holding your interest throughout the entire book and Petrea Burchard does a great job narrating. I am definitely looking forward to the next book with these zany characters! This book was given to me for free and I provided this unbiased review.

Another fun cozy mystery Vegas style!

I love this author so much! She writes such a fun storyline with plenty twist and turns to keep anyone guessing what is really going on! Aunt Pearl is driving Cendrine nuts again! This time she drags Cen and her mom to Las Vegas! There is lots of humor, mystery, suspense, witches, danger, a touch of romance, and plenty action!

Narration is excellent and brought the story to life! Love this narrator!

There seems to be one crazy thing after another going on in this story! Poor Cen, she can’t win with her crazy aunt pearl shenanigans! This time they are in serious danger caught in between a mob war!

There is plenty secrets that unfold as the story progresses. It’s always a rollercoaster ride with Aunt pearl! Such an entertaining ride all the way through.

I love the way things wrapped up and I’m already looking forward to the next crazy adventure with this fun crew!

Not a bad cozy.

Witches, Vegas, and the mob. I am new to this series and it does work as a stand alone, although I am curious about the first book. Sin is a out of practice witch trying to make an honest living when she is abducted by her eccentric aunt and taken to Vegas for a funeral. Nothing is as it seems as the aunt is a compulsive liar and a mystery begins to unfold regarding the death of the head mistress of the mob and subsequent shenanigans. The narrator does a great job with all the characters and its a decent listen. The aunt in the story is a little frustrating but I think she supposed to be so. I received a free review copy of this book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Witches, the mob, a cop, and dead bodies!

Rags to Witches: A Westwick Witches Cozy Mystery
By: Colleen Cross
Narrated by: Petrea Burchard
This is an audible book and the review is voluntary.
I love this cozy witch series. It is a fun mystery with twists and silly situations. It is a family of witches except the main gal isn't very good at spells. This lack of magic ability gets her in to trouble. But the magic ability of her Aunt gets her into a lot of trouble! Her Aunt drives me crazy but it makes for fun stories.
The narrator is awesome and keeps the voices straight and despite having a pretty voice is able to make a gruff voice for men. Great performance.

Love Aunt Pearl

Aunt Pearl is a force to be reckoned with. The Mob, Vegas, hidden bodies, card counting, magical RV, deception and a constant stream of lies and twists. Oh and I can't forget Carilyn Conroe. Yikes. It all magically come together for a nice 5 hours and 42 minutes.

If you liked the first book...

Then you’ll like the second. Another cost mystery with pg-rated antics, some twists and a bit of character development.

I do suggest reading the first book though. Otherwise the characters won’t be quite as fully developed.

This book will keep you reading long into the night and you will not want to put this book down until you finish. This was such a great read and full of surprises. The narrator did a wonderful job with this book. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end. If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. Witches among us

This book made me want to slap aunt pearl for her bossyness and all the shooting in Vegas unbelievable. The book was enjoyable I love stories about witches. The mafia witch’s and innocent bystanders and the extra body in the casket was hilarious. Really enjoyed this book

Aunt Pearl does it again.

Will Aunt Pearl ever stop getting Cen mixed up dangerous mysteries? Probably not! This book was fun and exciting but I still wanted to the her snarky aunt up to a flagpole. The twist and turns threw me for a loop but we're quite intriguing. I loved the relatable characters and the storyline. I received this book at my request. I am leaving my honest review voluntarily of my own volition.
