Inspired & Grateful...

I enjoyed this audio book and am grateful that the memories are now put down on audio book version so we will not forget! It is truly a terrible thing to have gone through this for all! We are so fortunate to live in a free country. Thanks to the woman that lived through the holocaust.

This audio book is specially for those of us who have never had to endure such horrific times, it gives more insight into other people’s sufferings.

It was a pleasing journey of 3 hrs and 40 mins. Waiting for next one Victoria.

MANY THANKS...

Rahilya's Fate: Memories (Russian Edition)

Wonderful book!.... What an amazing narration of the real life story!....

The author,, Victoria Peterburgsky Williamson, wrote this amazing book with such an immense love for her dear mother, Rachel.. The factual information and the timeline are depicted with remarkable authenticity and truthfulness. The truth and straightforwardness have been a driving force in the life of this brave little girl. What a life force and determination in the perils of difficult years of war!... And the memories of her loving parents who passed away when she was too young and needed them most stay with her all her life. And she always speaks about them with sadness and love...

Breathtaking biography with deep respect for events and people who surrounded Rahilya all her life!

Warm, sincere, words of gratitude are in every chapter, every step of Rahilya's long journey. Even though the life of her family was very difficult ( being Jewish in Belarus during Nazi occupation ), the power of love made miracles and brought so many amazing things into her life..

This book is a must read ! It is a life memory of a wonderful human being. It is also a history of the generation, the whole country.
Once you start listening to the audio book, you can not stop.. Listening to the soothing voice of the narrator (Maryna Bondarenko) makes you feel as if you are part of the story, part of Rahilya's family.

The voice of the narrator is very animated, very passionate and professional.

This is the first audio book of the author, after the paper version of the story. I think this book is a great success. It is also an intensive historical research done in the locations described in the book: Belarus, Azerbaijan, the USA. It is well done and is like a shiny pebble in the pristine water..

Thank you, Victoria, for your enthusiasm, your audacity to reveal the story of your mother's life ! I really loved it!
