Best of Celebration Thus Far

Of the first 4 books in the Celebration series, Rainbows Bring Riches is my favorite. I felt this book was the most light-hearted, funny, and enjoyable story and had the best character development. It didn't feel like it had some of the common romance tropes, which gave it a more natural feel. The ending felt a bit abrupt, but at the same time, for this particular couple, the ending made sense. If you are looking for a funny and sweet story with older adults not looking to play games with their relationship, this is a great book to listen to.

Fantastic Story & Narration🎧Charming & Heartfelt!

It is great to be back in Stacy Eaton’s “Celebration Township” series, one of my favorite places to visit, each book in the series features different lead characters and is takes place around a different holiday during the year, they all stand on their own too. This fourth book is Dabby Finnegan and Paige Brogan’s story and it begins with a fundraising bachelor auction on Valentine’s Day. Paige has had a crush on Dabney, the owner of the local tavern ever since she laid eyes on him. When her friend told her he was going to be auctioned off, she knew that was her chance to spend time with him. It did not thrill Dabby to take part in the auction, but since it was a fundraiser, he just went with it, he did not think he would raise much money or if anyone would even bid on him, so it surprised him when someone did. And that someone was Paige, and she was excited to meet him, she was as happy-go-lucky as he was a grump, but they planned their date and it thrilled her it would be at his tavern. It was not an ordinary date, he was a busy man running his own business, and she was happy to spend time with him there, she invited him to her job and he took her up on it, not knowing what she really did and when he found it I got a kick out of his reaction. Dabby has been single for so long and feels like he is out of his prime so he wonders how anyone is interested in him, especially a woman like Paige, but once he gets over himself and lets her in he realizes what he could have, but then he goes and almost ruins it, luckily for him it is St. Paddy’s day and Paige is helping with the party in his bar. It was great to get to know these two, and after hearing what Paige went thru broke my heart, thankfully it didn’t break her spirit. This wonderfully written and plotted story has the perfect balance of drama, charm, heartfelt emotions, and a sweet romance. Stacey Eaton, thank you for another fabulous story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧And for the fabulous narration, Yvonne Crude continues to do an amazing job bringing these characters and story to life. She has a complete understanding of the characters she is portraying, gives each a voice that suits that character and is believable in every role she plays. Her take on both leads was perfection, she grasped every side of their personalities, from Paige’s bubbly eagerness to her most vulnerable moments, and she did the same for Dabby, grasping all his sides too. You could heart how much heart she puts into her work as she captures all the character’s emotions and projects them into her performance. Yvonne Crude is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another wonderful listen.

Love visiting Celebration!

It has been a while since I have visited Celebration, PA, and I have missed it! Stacy Eaton has a wonderful cast of characters and this story in particular has become my favorite. Meet the spitfire, Paige Brogan. On a mission, she is in the tavern on Valentine's Day to bid on the man she has an interest in, Dabby Finnegan. When she wins him, her whirlwind of a personality is overpowering and Dabby is put off by the extreme energy. Or could it be fear of the beautiful woman having and interest in him? This adventure that these two embark on is so worth the listen! Hilarity in their banter, and the depth of the characters so immense that I could feel each emotion in my own heart. It's packed with relevant issues as well as a budding love! It's a fantastic addition to the series!

Yvonne Cude brings it all to life with great narration. She adds in a few southern accents and gives each character the perfect personality. I loved her fast talking as Paige and her stubborn streak as Dabby. It's a wonderful listen and is a feel good book.

Dabney and Paige

This was no burning fire and heated sheets. Dandy and Paige had some minor hurdles to love. Paige was bright happy cheerful friendly and she wanted Dabby. Danny was just him.

Yvonne Cude voice has grown on me through this series. I look forward to the next couple on Celebration Township.
