About this listen

Trista expects her alien warrior mate to be big and gorgeous. She doesn't expect him to take her hostage. She's already been abducted from Earth to be a tribute bride for the Drexian warriors, and Trista has finally gotten used to the idea of marrying a brawny alien warrior. Sort of. He has to be better than the awful guys from home she’s been trying so hard to forget.

Not only is Torven a Drexian warrior, but he’s also a member of Inferno Force. That means he’s bigger, tougher, and more dangerous. When he’s falsely accused of treason, he knows his only hope is to escape and give his fellow warriors time to prove his innocence.

Taking the pretty blonde tribute bride as a hostage wasn’t his plan, but Torven considers it a stroke of good luck. Until she shoots him and causes them to be marooned on a frozen planet. Between running from vicious ice creatures and avoiding alien pursuers, will she become more than his captive?

This stand-alone action romance novel features steamy scenes on a barren ice planet, space battles, deadly aliens hell-bent on invading Earth, and smoking-hot Drexian warriors with extra erogenous zones who are equally determined to protect Earth.

If you like hot alien warriors, spunky Earth women, steamy romance with a happily ever after, and a few laughs, you’ll love Ransomed, the fourth book in Tana Stone’s sci-fi romance series Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors. Get it now!

Action, Adventure & Romance

I liked this book. This book added a double dose of action and adventure to an already enjoyable blend of drama, emotion and heat that fills the pages of this sci-fi romance. I thought that the characters were very likable. The chemistry and tension between Torven and Trista was so easy to feel. Single narration on this book but the voice is pleasing and the performance is well done and involving. All together another solid entry in this fun series and simply a very good book.

Amazing Series!

This is the fourth book in the Tribute Brides of the Drexian Warriors Series, a Sci-Fi Alien Warrior Romance. This is another great addition to the Series. You can listen to this story as a standalone, but I recommend you to listen to this Series in order for a better understanding of the Drexian's world, and because each story is great. Torvan and Trista's story is entertaining, and steamy. Trista is a wonderful character, feisty and strong. Torvan is handsome, caring and protective. They share a sizzling chemistry. I like their banter. Misunderstandings, and a lack of communication, bring them through some troubles! The story is fast-paced, captivating, and well written. The world building is well done and intriguing. Jodie Bentley did a great job with the narration. I enjoyed it. If you like Sci-Fi romance, this Series is for you! I was given a free review copy of the audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Steamy and fast paced

This was my first story by Tana Stone and it was an enjoyable listening experience. Trista and Torvan complement one another despite their rocky start. Although there were frequent miscommunications, their ability to work well together during stressful situations prove they have what it takes to make it! There was mystery, betrayal, intrigue, action and steamy romantic encounters. Jodie Bentley’s narration was great. She brought each character to life with her performance and the individual voices used for them!

Lots of Adventure

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. Tana Stone has packed so much adventure into this book. It has frame ups, deadly alien creatures and men, a hostile frozen planet, some comedy, good friends, and explosive love scenes. Torven is an honorable fierce warrior. Trista is a witty, brave woman. These two will face many perils in their quest to be together. The narrator brings these characters to life. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Great Series

Another successful book to add to this great series. Jodie Bentley, again, does a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life. You do not have to have read/listen previous books to start with this one, but I highly recommend starting at the beginning of the series for full alien impact.

Very Intriguing

Kidnapping, arranged marriage, and political intrigue while in outer space . What's not to like?

I have to say this book starts off slow, but it ramps up and captures your attention. It is well worth the listen and I would recommend it to anyone who likes sci-fi romance.

Love love love

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I love this series! The author makes the world seem so real, the aliens come to life and offer a life of adventure to their partners, and the sex is always hot, which can’t hurt.

The narrator did an amazing job as well, which does help the story come to life.

Good

The narrator made the female lead sound like a ditzy airhead. Other than that the story is quite good

Trista and Torven’s story

Trista has always been attracted to bad boys. They are her type but they always end up bad for her. Her last relationship ended so badly she was happy to become a tribute bride. But her matched warrior is still on a mission.
Torven got matched to a bride and is coming back from a mission. He is framed for a crime he did not commit and is arrested. So he does not have an opportunity to clean up. He has only seen Trista in a photo but he knows she is his. He needs to get away and so when he sees her in a hallway, he kidnaps her in order to escape. And Trista is convinced he is yet another bad boy, as her luck would have it.
They go through quite a few trials and fall in love, but not without their misunderstanding and miscommunication. Trista’s life ends up being in danger and Torven pulls out all the stops to save her.
It is another great installment to the Drexian Tribute bride series and I can’t wait for Dock’s story.
My only complaint is the narrator. She is the same throughout the books, so I think I am getting used to her. But she makes every female character sound stupid and breathy and every male character sounds old when they are speaking. She sounds fine when she is narrating the rest. I just do not enjoy her approach.
