I definitely enjoyed this book. Steamy sex scenes, a unique world and a kick but heroine! No cheating and M/F romance.
The narration made it difficult for me to rate this book. I could not tell who was talking half the time because the tones never really changed. It made it very confusing at times. That being said, I am a very picky with my books and I did enjoy this story. I liked the characters and the story line. It was a unique world setting and kept my attention. I would have to recommend reading it yourself though.

I like to place books in genres, however, I have no clue which genre to put this book into, there are a lot. I guess that is why I liked it so much. It was different and unique.
This book is a good book and I will definitely pick up another book by Landra Graf and the narrator did a good job as well.

The story starts off with the main female lead, Sorella, trying to find her brother.
I would like to say.. that I really like strong female leads.
Sorella then meets, Ian, a bounty hunter, sparks fly, and the journey begins.

The narration by S.W. Salzman was decent.

This takes place in a 1936 alternate universe where Tesla's inventions are as prevalent as Apple today. For me, this was totally different, and I wasn't sure….. but I liked it. After a couple of recent listens with stupid, useless and/or doormat heroines, a story with a smart, capable, kick-ass chick is very much appreciated. I liked it.

SW Saltzman does a good job with male and female voices without making the female voices sound like caricatures. He has a good feel for how to use his voice to convey the emotions of the writing at the right time. I would listen to his narration again.

I received this audiobook in exchange for an unbiased review. The number of stars is based on where I believe this audiobook rates with other audiobooks of the same type, length and general feel-- not where it rates in comparison to all audiobooks of all time.

Audiobook - narration, S.W. Salzman, pretty good - he has a nice narrative voice and was pleasant to listen to.

I had a really hard time with this audiobookbook. I bet I listened to chapter 2, six or seven times (no joke) and chapter three four or five times. At least I wanted to know what was going on enough to re-listen to the chapters, but I just couldn't stay engaged. As a result, I'm not entirely sure that I completely 'got it'.

It seemed to me that it was a fictional history of the world but it felt sort of futuristic. I enjoyed that part of the story and I think my final assessment is that the romance distracted me from the part of the story that I wanted to understand and was really interested in.

Once I got past the fourth chapter or so, I cruised right through it. The relationship and the sex scenes continued to distract me, but not as much. I guess I just wanted more about this new world which I found quite intriguing.

This Little Gem is So Different then almost everything else I've read....IT WAS SO NICE to read something different & Good!! Good Narrator!! I wish it would've been longer cause I just didn't want it to end!!

I enjoyed the story although I was expecting something else. The lead was a strong woman who was true to her feelings and allowed herself to fall in love unexpectedly.
