About this listen

Love bound her to three possessive fae men...but fate has other plans.

A happily ever after with my summer fae men was within our reach...until the Heart of the Mists tied me to one of the foreboding winter arch-lords.

I can't escape the connection between us. The enemy can speak from right within my soul.

I'm not willing to give up on my happiness so easily, but I can't let the realms descend into all-out war. I'll brave the uncertainties of the winter realm if that's what it takes to protect the men I love.

My chilly Unseelie arch-lord isn't quite what I expected, though. There's passion beneath his icy front...and also so much pain.

As the lines between ally and enemy start to blur, can I stop the clash of winter and summer before even more blood is shed?

Bound to the Fae is a fantasy romance series featuring possessive shifters, dangerous fae politics, and a wounded heroine coming into her own. This audiobook set contains the middle three books in the series: Royal Mate, Secrets of Winter, and Fated Crown.

Loved it.

Absolutely fantastic! I love the narrators and the way they do an amazing job of bringing these characters to life. I love this part of the series because it shows how much closer that Thalia and her guys get when adding Corwin to the mix. Such a great series!

Enjoyed!

The series continues. I am really glad it is a box set! In this set of books we get to see things from the ravens point of view. Since finding out Corwin is Talia’s soul twined mate we get to see things from the other side. At first I was unsure what to think of him and the ravens but he grew on me and enjoyed the story. The narration was again ok for me. Not bad. Not great! Can’t wait to find out what happens in the last few books!

So many twists and turns!!

By going to the Ravens, I worried that our main character might lose out or try to replace her mates from books 1-3. As always, Ms. Chase leads the readers through various twists and turns that lead to a beautiful storyline and inventive plot.

The binge read (er, listen?) continues

Ravens of Winter

I listened to each of these books as an advanced reader. My reviews are voluntary.

Royal Mate

Unputdownable. Yep, might be a new word (probably not, lol). If you have been reading along with the series (and if not, you should be, duh) you remember what happened to Talia at the end of the last book. Yep, soul-twined mate. Oops. He is an Unseelie arch-lord to boot. Neither Talia nor her men can figure out how a human could possibly have any kind of soul-twined mate, much less one with an Unseelie lord. It takes all of Talia's energy to keep him out of her head. Her men work tirelessly to find some way the bond can be broken. But then word comes from the Unseelie that they will invade the domains of the Seelie around the Heart if their lord is kept from his mate. Talia has no choice - she must go and meet Corwin in person, stay with him for 10 days, to show that it is her decision to remain with the Seelie. But will the Unseelie Lord and the bond let it be her decision? Or is it an inevitability that she stay in the Winter realm with her mate?

Lots to unwrap here. Why did the Heart twine together a human and an Unseelie? Is there more at work here than any of them can imagine? Is Talia the bridge that will bring peace to the Fae worlds? We don't get those answers yet. Stay tuned.

Secrets of Winter

Loved this installment of the Bound to the Fae series as Talia strives to strengthen her connection to the Winter Fae and Corwin while protecting her bond with Sylas and his cadre. Talia gets her first look at the Raven's curse and she and Corwin try to find a way for her to help his people like she does the Wolves. Meanwhile, she is also doing her best to broker some kind of lasting peace between the two realms. The arch-lords of the Winter realm are reluctant to reveal their secret to the Summer fae, but Talia points out that they have done themselves no good so far by attempting to take land on the other side of the border through force.

The fragile peace will be threatened by an attack and Talia's success at curing those who fall to the curse of the Winter realm will be sporadic. She is not even sure exactly what it is that sometimes works to reverse the symptoms. One thing that goes well is her growing feelings and trust for Corwin and he even has a proposal that may make it possible for her to keep all her men. But there are those that don't trust her or the fae of the Summer realm and they will do their best to tear her from her soul-twined mate.

Fated Crown

!#$$. But enough about the cliffhanger ending. A great addition to the series as Talia faces the fact that her brother may have lived through the attack that brought her to the fae world. It also seems that some of the winter fae arch-lords may be trying to get rid of her, but why? Could it be her growing popularity with the winter fae populace who are awed at her ability to reverse their curse? Or is it her influence with her soul-twined mate Corwin? Or her wanting to bond with three of the summer fae, including another arch-lord? Whatever it is it doesn't stop Talia from investigating the treatment of other humans brought to the fae world. But another danger lurks in the shadows and more secrets are about to be uncovered. X!$#$. Back to the cliffhanger ending. Grrrr.

Amazing story!

Read all books 1-9. The overall story was very good but the narration could have been a little better. I liked that the love scenes were not as graphic or BDSM In nature. Overall a good book and I love this author.
