Trite, Rehashed, Self-Promoting

This was a serious disappointment. I've read a lot of the major motivational writers and this book offers nothing new.

Worse, it's like modern rap songs that insist on singing/saying their own name.

After the 5th or 6th time, I got a little fed up with hearing the constant self-promotion and advertising -- "for more information, see my web site [gives url]" . UGH. I just bought your book. Give me the resources at the end or beginning but quit browbeating me with it continually through the text of the book.

For people who have never read a motivational book, it offers some useful tips but at that beginner level, books by Dale Carnegie, Zig Ziglar, Brian Tracy, Anthony Robbins, Napoleon Hill etc would be far more useful.

Biggest waste of time thank God it was short

The book is one giant marketing plug for the authors website and resume. A significant amount of the text comes from famous quotes and the first 6 chapters are literally fluff i.e., space fillers. While no self help book is a true fix there should be some sort of novel concepts identified, I’ve seen wiki pages vetted and filled out better than this text. I leave by stating that I never give bad reviews if I don’t like something I simply learn the lesson and move on, but with this book I’m pissed that i uses my audible credit and I think the author owes her audience more than this greeting card of a book.
