Publisher's summary

Reaper didn’t think it was possible to be deceived by anything, or anyone, after the hell he had gone through. But Ginny proved him wrong. Not only wasn’t she the woman he believed her to be, but she had also sacrificed herself to pay for his crimes.

The only part of finding out who Ginny was that didn’t surprise him was that she was a thief. He already knew that - she had been stealing bits and pieces of his soul since he’d met her. And not only had Ginny wrecked the peace he had promised himself, but she also turned his life in a tailspin as he fought to keep her safe from an enemy from her past.

Ginny didn’t think it was possible to love Gavin more than she already did. He proved her wrong. The only problem was...who was going to protect her from Reaper?

Every part of her loved Gavin, yet it was Reaper who was turning her life in a tailspin. Determined to claim her soul while refusing to relinquish his, Ginny found herself engaged in a battle of wills that she was willing to fight to win until death.

The battle between soul mates is never a pretty thing. In battles, there are always winners and losers. Ginny and Reaper are going to have to decide if the price of winning the battle is worth the cost or lose the ultimate prize - eternity.

Could have been better

Spoiler alert!!! These 3 books for Gavin’s story were not like the rest of the series. Not at all!
After 10 years of torture I was hoping the books would be more about how to deal with life after that. He doesn’t want to be touched at all and she is a virgin but their first time together is sweet and painless. Yeah right. She should have left him and made him chase. Nope. The crap with Jewel… are you kidding? Did they throw that in for more drama? They never talk about Jewel and Gavin prior so that part was stupid and unnecessary. The back stories are getting a bit ridiculous. These guys bang every chick they can find and share for years but then they all end up with a sweet church loving girl with major family issues and crazy pasts.
Books are for fun and to enjoy and to live vicariously through. This didn’t do any of that. I only listened to all 3 so I could finally finish the series but I would have been happier without them. The story I gave Gavin in my head was much better.
The first 2 books were unnecessary and all 3 could have been condensed into one. Sadly I will not listen to the first 2 every again and if I listen to the last, I’ll have to fast forward all the stupid parts.
The epilogues…. Ugh. Shade and Rider have these amazing endings and this one was crap! Guess it’s time to move on cause I don’t care to listen to stories for the dirty club girls like Bliss or Jewel or Sex Piston or the other bitches. Not everyone is meant to fall in perfect love and be forgiven for every bad thing they ever did. Come on…. No one ever even died really. Bliss should have never been let back in the club and the new characters names are getting dumber and dumber.
On a side note… Brooch is pronounced wrong and that’s just lame. Not as bad as Killyama’s name was butchered in a previous book but still just as bad when pronounced wrong multiple times.
Needless to say this book could have been better!

Gavin and Ginny❣️

This trilogy was absolutely beautiful. All of the things these two went through to get to their happy ever after…wow! But it’s true, if they hadn’t then they wouldn’t have found themselves where they were supposed to be. I did hope that they would also realize the part where she crashed into the water at 4 and him running down the beach and wondering why he had an overwhelming feeling to go in the water was another ‘soul mate’ moment but they figured almost everything else out so it’s cool. Now I need to see a next generation series.

Fantastic

This trilogy was an emotional journey and I'm so glad I took it. Gavin's story is heart wrenching and beautiful and should be experienced by all.

Love it

All Jamie Begleys books are completely wonderful. Gavins story is very sad but ends with everything. I just wish she did more books. Maybe start with the next generation. I would love that.

Definitely recommend highly!!

Definitely recommend, but start with the previous books about the Last Riders, in order.
I love how the author was able to get me so absorbed in each book and never wanting the books to end.
Once you begin this journey into the Last Riders, you will want more books to continue into the next generation!!! Really hope this happens.

Love !

Love this whole series and all the interconnected series ! I hope every book is brought to Audible. I love the narrator however this last book I couldn’t help but be annoyed with the pronunciation of Jesus and a couple other words that were not pronounced correctly.

I love Jamey Begley

One of my top 5 authors. This trilogy is everything! But then, so are each and every book. My eyes are always so swollen from ugly crying at the end of each story. They are so beautiful, heartbreaking and joyous. I listen to all the branch off series in date order. Periodically. So far I have them all, most in audiobook format. Can’t wait to see what comes next.
