This title from Andrew C. Hinkelberg is truly a monster collection of protection methods to set up powerful boundaries that will nullify the narcissist’s vicious tactics. The truth to getting out of the narcissistic push and pull dynamic in one piece is to emotionally heal yourself at the deep root core of your own issues (cus you CANNOT change their issues!). Because once you have done the work and uprooted these things within yourself, the narcissist really has nothing to grab hold of, leverage against you ,and threaten you with anymore. And it’s at this point that they will begin looking for someone else to fulfill their narcissistic supply. Which is why it’s so important that the author has structured this collection in the way they have: So the listener can begin to understand the narcissist and then subsequently do the work on themselves to undo why they have become such a target to these kinds of personalities to begin with.
