About this listen

Carmen has gotten her wish. Renee is no longer queen. Being stripped of her title and the power that comes with it, Renee must start from scratch and rebuild what she once controlled.

Having turned their backs on one another, Renee's once strong circle is now dismantled, and each individual is after what ripped them apart - Carmen. Carmen's making it hard for them to capture her and doing whatever she must to survive. Renee wants revenge along with everyone else, but will she achieve it, or will she die in battle without the help of Julian and Dane?

This book has a little of everything, the family dynamic, love story, suspense, action I listened to the three part series back to back. I loved it

Good conclusion to a dark story with lots of twists and turns. I finished all 3 in about 4 days.

I the finale we finally find out what happens to Renee. We learn about how Renee is out on her own after leaving the family she ever knows. We learn of Carmen’s faith and what happens to her. We find out if Renee and Julian get back together and we also find out if Renee can mend the rift between the only family she knows. All three books were awesome and very engaging. It was a pleasure listening to books 1, 2, and 3.

I thought I'd wait for the end of this series to leave a review. I am so glad I stuck to my gut feeling.
Book 1... was a 3.5, but it left me with so many questions. I was tired of the same ol' sister v/s sister. I won't lie I was thinking... damn get over it. everyone was so hung up on being a part of a family when they already had friends who filled the loss of not having one. they were searching for that perfect love that makes u feel whole. blah blah blah.
BUT
they all had their share but greed and hunger stopped them from recognizing it. ok. now book 2“....ahhh I get it now... their loss and founds were explained and their needs began to be told unashamed and unapologetically. just when it seemed repetitive matters changed after one unexpected death and the answers spiralled out in book three. GENIUS...over all 4.7

Product of her environment? No Love!

i had to listen to all 3 books before i could speak on the series and let me say WOW!!! 1st the narrator was AMAZING, she definitely kept me in the story.

I wanted to kill Carmen myself, she was a jealous hater. Renée should've met Madison sooner imo.

This series was great. Keep writing!

Absolutely love it. Wish we could see how she and Madisons relationship flourished, and what happened to Dane and Metro

Renee is a beast!

I haven’t cheered for a group of bad guys this hard since the family business series lol
Writing was excellent! Descriptions remind me of old Donald Goins books. I want mooorrreeee! 3 definitely wasn’t enough! Great narrator! And that matters

I wanted to listen to all 3 stories in the series before l left a review. l have no idea what this story was supposed to be...but l do know that l didn't like it. There was too much of one thing going on and not enough of the other. Renee was a hot mess. ln the first 5 minutes of the story...Renee aborted Julian's baby without letting him know discussing it with him...she didn't even let him know that she was pregnant in the first place. She basically said f him....because she was not meant to be a mother and never wanted kids...then she turns around and says that she wants to get married, have the house with the white picket fence, and kids? she gets pissed with him because he was upset and has sex with what he thinks is some random..which he later regrets...and then he finds out that it's Renee's have sister, Carmen. Julian comes clean about his screw up...but Renee never comes clean about her screwing ol boy not once but twice! And also, Renee is supposed to be a big time drug queenpin...but not one drug deal ever talked about or brick sold. There was nothing but killing and men supposedly falling in love with Renee. And let's not forget about all the fragmented flash backs that only managed to make the story even more confusing. The author really missed the mark...because there was so much potential that wasn't tapped into.... (especially with Page) But it's like the author put out a ton of nonsensical details that never came together into a cohesive storyline. The narrator was the best part of the series. l only listened because all 3 instruments were free. l would not recommend anyone to spend money or coins on this series...it's just not worth it in my opinion...but you be the judge.

Had potential...but too unrealistic
