Dark and creepy short stories
Any additional comments?
There are 4 short stories in this compilation and each one get creepier and freakier until you get to the last one that made me say " What the hell?" Seriously these are some pretty messed up stories. If short messed up stories are your thing then this book is for you! I love how each one just send shivers down my spine, especially the one that is in a mental institution. Mark is a master at these kind of short stories and even though it's only just over an hour long there is a lot of story packed into it. I sometimes wonder about just what goes on in his head when I read some of his stories and this one even more so.I really enjoyed this trip down the strange and twisted road these stories brought me on.

Little bits of horror
Repackaged Presents by Mark Tullius is a short collection of five stories that grab you immediately, build up and then disposes of you, so to speak.
I found the brevity of these stories to my liking rather than a weakness. Each provided enough information to guess what might happen and/or understand what happens when it finally does. A couple of them might have you squirming uncomfortably. Every one of them will serve as a reminder to check all of your door and window locks, which reminds me...
I listened to the audio version and found the narrator to be just about right. These stories beg for a bit of an understated reading and Corey Snow does this very well.
