About this listen

The second and final installment in the two-book series, Apocalypse Chronicles... Kennedy and Harrison's fate is uncertain now that they have been forced into a landscape swarming with Infected. Yet, with her military background and his superhuman abilities, they begin to rescue survivors while they search for one person in particular...a scientist capable of developing a cure. What they are not prepared to find is the truth...that both play far greater roles than either ever imagined in their attempt to save humankind. Bestselling author Laury Falter finishes off this two-part series—a dystopian romance filled with an electrifying plot, a powerful romance, and unexpected twists. I forgot this was being narrarated by Virtual Voice. I hate that because good human narration, by people with unique speech patterns can be very enjoyable. The story was good, a little to simple in sections, but it was interesting and a bit unique. And it wasn't very dark, which makes for a nice break from the norm.
