About this listen

The Mediator series has earned #1 New York Times best-selling author Meg Cabot unrivaled praise for her portrayal of a smart, courageous heroine. Suze Simon, a mediator who guides ghosts to the afterlife, is having a great time with her best friend from New York. But then four ghosts, the "RLS Angels", show up looking for revenge. The angry spirits died in a car accident and they blame Michael Meducci, a nerdy boy who has a crush on Suze.©2005 Meg Cabot (P)2005 Recorded Books, LLC Action & Adventure Difficult Situations Fantasy Horror Literature & Fiction Mystery, Thriller & Suspense Paranormal Romance Science Fiction & Fantasy Thrillers & Suspense

a nice relaxing story where the characters show some growth but not all is resolved and tied with a bow at the end.

In the third book of the Mediator series, Suze is dealing with some trouble-making ghosts that refuse to move on. Her best friend Gina comes for a visit and Suze has a hard time hiding her mediator duties from her, especially since one of the ghosts lives in Suze's room.

This is another great addition to the series, Suze is so relatable and Jesse is just dreamy. Suze's family is growing closer and it's heartwarming to watch. There's some hints of the trouble to come later in the series, and I can't wait!

The narration is a bit fuzzy, but it was recorded in 2005, so that's understandable. Other than that it was a great performance!

Great series!

Love this series! Even though it’s YA, it is so well written that this oldster is enjoying immensely. Suze is amazing. Dumb sometimes, silly others but she’s a teenager so it’s all believable. Johanna Parker is the #1 narrator in my book. Don’t know what I will do when I run out of books narrated by her. I’ve grown so used to hearing her rattle on as I go about my day, It is fun because these books were written just as cell phones and home computers were widely adopted. What a difference 20 years makes!

So Much Fun!

I’m enjoying rereading this series, but I never realized how heartless Suze could be. She’s pretty flippant about kids dying, saying she’s not gonna sit around and feel bad for kids who were from a rival school. That’s so weird. She’s not even interested in sports. I’m going to assume the editor only skimmed that chapter. It wasn’t consistent with the rest of the book. To be fair though, she was pretty mean to the dead girl in the first book, telling the girl repeatedly that she should’ve been smarter and maybe she’d still be alive, but “too bad” because she was stupid. Suze wasn’t wrong, but I’m not sure what reaction she expected talking to someone like that unprovoked. So harsh.

Interesting plot to this one

It was like I blinked and I finished this book. I want more. I want it to be longer. I want to read more about Suze and maybe Jesse. I just want more everything.

I loved the plot and the twists. The twists weren't hard to figure out but they were good.

I. Need. More.
