The hotly-anticipated sequel to The Devil Wears Prada – the million copy bestseller that took the world by storm

Everything’s in place for the season’s hottest launch:

Boring Wears Prada

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

This story could have been titled "I have got a husband and a baby and I am the only woman ever to have done this". Pullleeeease!! Nothing happened until the second last chapter when she dumped her husband, admitttedly for a good reason.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I'm going back to the Mysteries and Thrillers list.

Did Laurel Lefkow do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?

Laurel Lefkow is always a good narrator.

What character would you cut from Revenge Wears Prada: The Devil Returns?

So boring!

I struggled to finish this story. Andy is not the character she was in the first book. she is spoiled, selfish and uncommunicative. she irritated me immensely. The narrator was good and did the best she could but she really didn't have much to work with.

Fun with interesting real life issues

I had only recently seen the film, The Devil Wears Prada and I certainly recommend seeing or reading that book before enjoying this one. For enjoy you will -- well, I did anyway. And the first rate narrator, Laurel Lefkow, enhanced the characters who were delightfully real.

It's about the racy cut-throat world of New York fashion and is probably as relevant to most readers as a fantasy novel. But the author managed to insert some pretty interesting real life conundrums about the role of the woman in a highly competitive and pretentious workplace and they were artfully, romantically and sympathetically resolved.
